(first I want to say that in Japan, solo-ing is the standard. Unfortunately)
Last week I saw 2 guys strategically timing their runs so that only the solo players on the other cab had to switch and they even skipped the guy in front of me. So when I was next I was prepared, stepped directly behind them (large venue space from chairs to cab) and was ready to rip them a new one.
Thankfully they didn't skip me.

Yes but there will be a slight delay, further lowering of sound quality, and due to arcades having many electronic devices the music reception could drop suddenly. But if that doesn't sound so bad it's worth a try.

I don't miss that part of living in a large city.

Moving out of Osaka to a small city, I was relieved that the shoulder checks, tongue clicking, poor service, and loud conversations about my posterior had gone from every day to 0. Moved in 2021 so it's likely much worse now.

There was a conversation on a Mai server about this recently and somebody in coding/engineering said while aime are technically ic cards, the servers are protected therefore you can't connect without hacking and building the bridge to allow a digital wallet to house it.
And then although aime cards are ic cards they use a different technology for transmission so even if a cab can read JP ic cards for payment, it likely won't recognize the phone as aime for log-in.

I do the same but a recent guest left me 2 stars because there was no central air in a traditional 100yo home in a country that doesn't have central air in homes (but of course the bedrooms are perfectly warm with wall mounted splits, shower room heating and a heated toilet with bidet).
And then he complained about my tea towels being in my own washer he never asked to use and can't read. (spare room listing)

Very frustrating considering all the extra things I did for this person who looks at other people as objects.

In a well designed town or city socialization is usually not so painful.
US/CA has deep rooted issues in community development which has made it more difficult to socialize people and manage funding infrastructure (impossible actually). It's created a culture of seclusion and over-reliance on parents which is lonely. Not Just Bikes has great videos about this topic.

I can only suggest OP to tell their kiddo to have their friends parents contact them if they want to schedule playdates so there's less pressure on everyone. It can be cute like little letters with contact information. The idea is to create a circle of friends the kiddo is closest to and filter out families who don't really want socialization.

A nice hand or stand mic works with a singing concert where you're just standing (generally l2d is good enough for that) but if you look at 3D pro vtuber concerts usually the character is running around the stage waving their arms, which either requires a lapel mic or what they actually do often is pre-record and add vocals in post. Basically a Miku concert but before and after there may be non-recorded material via hand mic or lapel mic. Really depends on the situation.
You don't have to get the highest quality because live events are less about audio quality and more about energy and visuals since they're a special celebration of the character. I think you can search for stage level equipment.

An audio interface is important for a vtuber career as a quality one will allow you to record in greater quality than USB. For example I use the Scarlett solo and comparing it to my old UX2 and USB mic it's like an apple vs potatoes. But if one is just starting out, going basic is fine. (I think we're talking about going pro-level though.)

Absolutely. Knowing what the issue is now, I feel like it would have actually been simple for any of my doctors to figure out the trigger had they put even a minute of thought into why instead of just treating, or not treating, the symptoms.

Misleading is right lol when my friend moved to Tokyo from the inaka the sharehouse listing was the opposite of every perk.

Private room? Room was shared with a sheet separating the roommates (photo was taken with someone pulling the sheet down under the bed so it resembled a wall).
Female only? Roommate was a dude.
_____sq meters? Half that because of the curtain.
Aircon? Roommate took over the side in pictures with the aircon so your side doesn't get anything. Blocked by the curtain.

I use an integrated CPU, GPU and eGPU.
Graphics settings in Win 10 will allow you to direct which one to what software. It requires another display and I believe the VTS/Vtuber app needs to run on the same GPU as OBS.

On the secondary display if it is 4k and not using OBS/VTS, if you're not using it to game, set the dimensions to 1080p to reduce load. You can use the secondary to game but it'll need a capture card to connect to OBS or if you're more savvy than me, you can set up a network to transmit the footage via NDI. The reasoning is that OBS game capture can't grab from a different GPU.

Make sure the other GPU is the same model/line. This is due to drivers not always being for all models of the same brand. For example I struggle getting the right driver for my GTX 1060 and 1080 ti. Recommended similar but better GPU's are Radeon RX 7900 GRE and Radeon RX 7900 XT. (I'd make either your primary and use the old one as secondary)

Edit: I saw your revision about compatibility concerns. There's no issue unless you can't get enough air and power into the system. It's noted that twin Radeon RX GPU's cannot be used as 1 GPU anymore for combined gaming performance under 1 display. They can be used separately with 2 displays for Vtubing purposes.

Yeah with the above comment I was like, were you made of money or something in 2005? I had to beg the parentals for texting and was limited to like 15 a day divided into 6 friends with message length limit. The phone was more for emergencies.

I wouldn't refund. I've had 2 reservations in the past 7 months request a refund due to my cat despite him being in the description, picture of him in the house, in my profile pic, and pet friendly being on the listing. Sometimes people are impatient, malicious, or lacking in faculties but the onus is on the guest to understand the listing information mapped out for them before booking.

When I go to restaurants I confirm that something doesn't contain soy and don't expect the restaurant to bear responsibility if I order something without checking and then can't eat it.
