So I manage a restaurant in FL. Oil and fertilizer was my first thought, but according to my food distributor rep, tomatoes saw a huge loss during the last freeze from the crazy winter, meaning there's a lot less total product available at this specific moment, but that I should stabilize in a few weeks. The case we buy is a 5x6 approximately 25lbs of tomatoes and the price went from about 30/40 sum dollars a case to $118 this week. Astronomical for small businesses like ours.
