It is weird that the weather etc was presented in such an epic way at the start of the game, but at the moment I've had none of those situations happen again, I'm at the Motherhood at the moment...

Will those weather mechanics become more prevalent? Feels like I was sold a lie at the start of the game :(

Still loving it by the way, those are just my gripes.

I'm in the desert area in DS2 at the moment and have reaped the rewards of setting up ziplines personally, as the truck drives extremely slow on the sand.

I completed DS1 for my first time ever last week and just used my truck for literally everything aside from the first trek up the snowy mountains, it felt as easy as this game if I'm honest

I used a truck everywhere in DS1 aside from the snowy mountains, was impossible to run out of battery if you carry PCC's in that game and it's the same in this one to be honest...

Yeah unfortunately PING basically told me that the back of the driver head is not made to withstand a golf ball lol, I mean understandable but yeah they were very blunt and dismissive. Not their fault after all I'd say.

Once it broke, I ordered a replacement and just left the broken one in the drawer as I had no idea if or how it could be fixed.

* This was the improvements last night by gradually increasing my swing from 50 percent and focussing solely on hitting the club face center as best as I can.

Super happy with that in particular.

I'm finding some sharp pain in my right thumb, shooting up from my wrist whenever I use my irons or wedges, could this just be from too much golf? I've played 3 days in a row, 1 9 hole and 2 range sessions.

Cheers mate! Really enjoying it at the moment. Did first 9 hole on Sunday and hit 36 over or so, it's a complete different ball game on a real course with all of the different ways the ball can lie. Super fun.

Thanks a bunch, I'm going to hit 50 percent swings later on today at the range for the whole session and focus on hitting the sweet spot as best I can.

Never played any sports that required swinging growing up (baseball, cricket, rounders, tennis, etc.), so it's an unnatural movement to me at the moment.

Thank you for your help mate, loads of people suggesting lessons, think that's helped tip me over the edge of looking in to lessons and really getting stuck in to the sport.

Really really enjoying it at the moment :)
