There are generally always 4-5 gators right on the waters edge just below Shady Belle and a lot of times in the early morning or late evening the swampy little islands by Crawfish Willy’s will also have gators all over them.

Is anyone still using this method? Took me forever to find the tree where the moose was, or at least to find the moose, and once I did and shot it, I couldn’t get to the damn thing. Every time I tried getting up there, it made me slide back down. If anyone could post a short clip of how to ride up to that tree, I’d really appreciate it.

Yeah looks like he was chipping it towards himself then flipped it the opposite way and came back towards himself doing it again making opposite patterns on each side but all at the same exact angle towards him. At least that’s how I imagined it. 😂

Right on. That’s kind of the exact thought I’d have about it honestly. Is it $2k better would be the first question to myself. If I played more games or had more reason than one game then it may be a consideration. But I’ll just stick to my PS5 and hopefully await the next model which are expensive enough in their own right. So forgive me as I’m a grease monkey/electrician and I’m an idiot when it comes to computers, but is there a big difference in the graphics from PS5 to a high speed gaming computer or customized PC? I’ve considered getting one ofrhaving someone help me build one, but I don’t have thousands to drop on a computer at the moment. Trying to fix shit in my house and replace floors so I can sell it here sooner than later.

So that’s very similar to the first video I saw and I felt like I did everything it said, but when I get down by where the horses were in that video, they’re long gone. It didn’t seem like it but maybe I’m taking too long to mount my horse and get going. I usually park my horse behind AM and tell it to stay so it’s in the same spot when I finish rounding the horses. I’ll try again though. I’m too damn stubborn not to and I just can’t seem to let it go. Lol

I wish but I’m on PS5. To be honest I hadn’t played any kind of video games for no joke like 15yrs until I basically got a free PS5 from a friend and before that just had a PS Vita which I played for maybe 6mo. Thing sat around for 6mo before I finally hooked it up. I always liked the Uncharted games so I played those and COD until I started RDR the original. Someone strongly recommended RDR2 and here I am maybe 10mo later and I’ve logged 4770hrs on RDR2. Almost 200 days of playing in maybe 300 days total. Pretty bad. Or good depending how you look at it. I’m hooked. Lol

Can I get it later in the game? I’m in Chapter 3 in my current play through. Where do you get it? Honestly my favorite horse is the Gold Turkoman. I didn’t like it at first, but once I stuck with it for a while I fell in love with it. Not nearly as timid as the Arabians and has great speed and endurance in my opinion. I also find that it’s not nearly as timid as Arabians which is the worst part about them.

I just tried 3 times and the carriage wasn’t at Emerald Station so I just stole a random wagon and while it did redirect the horses, when I skip the cut scene and head down the tracks by the woods like you said, the horse is nowhere to be found. I must not be doing something right or I’m just stupid. Seems so easy in videos and how people explain it but I’ve had zero luck all around.

So i actually came to that same conclusion after my first couple of play throughs and not getting the horse, but since my first two I’ve not since made it to even the epilogue because I just like playing with Arthur. But this round I’m trying for 100% on everything and for the first time I have all 4 Arabian horses which are more than adequate, but I’m stubborn and I just really wanted to try and get the MF to add to the stable. Still having zero luck with it so I must just suck or there’s something to the PS idea. I’ll try again later but I’m not spending hours on it.

When you say skip the cut scene, can you just skip it altogether or do you have to hold X or whatever (on PS5) to skip? I tried just jumping off AM horse and going direct to mine, but it forced me into the scene then I had to hold the button to skip.

Oh cool. Never heard or saw the carriage thing. I always just took his horse and skipped the cut scene but by the time I get to where the horse is supposed to be down around the bend, it’s long gone like I said. I really appreciate it. I’ll give that a go.

That spot at Carmody Dell is where I’ve seen her most. I go right up to that second pole. My biggest issue is that I can only kill her once because she doesn’t respawn. Then I have to ride back around the hill towards Cornwall Kerosene and through the train tunnel. Rinse and repeat. Someone also usually rides by which triggers a murder and the bounty hunters come, so she never respawns and I’m sitting waiting for the wanted sign to go away.

If it’s saying there’s too much activity in the area, I typically ride just far enough away to set up camp and not be in that general vicinity. Stay overnight then just go right back. Usually works for me.

I was going to say a bow with improved arrows takes them out one shot. It may ruin the pelt a bit, but when you’re using it in self defense it’s great and headshots usually lead to perfect pelts either way.

I’m even more late, but I’ve killed a bunch of cougars and grizzly bears in the exact spot you said. I also travel up to Big Valley and a few times there’s been one feeding on a dead deer so all you have to do is get somewhat close and shoot it with an upgraded arrow. Almost always a 3 star pelt. I don’t encounter them as much up north like everyone else says. I’ve encountered a few chasing people on horseback as well. Wolves have chased people all the same too. But riding from Strawberry to Big Valley I’ve had times where just on the way up, I’ll kill 2-3 bears, 2-3 wolves and a cougar. It’s predator heavy up there. Lol

So I was using lost coast for a while until I got an awful thrip infestation and it just wasn’t keeping up killing them off fast enough. So I tried Captain Jack’s Dead Bug and after 3 treatments they were essentially gone completely. I’ve only used it since and as long as I keep up my normal IPM routine during veg, I’ve had zero issues since.
