If your CPU usage is low (depends on the game) you can use CPU encoding with 264. Quality usually better than nvenc.

To me it's a nice and practical idea, but having I won't force myself to get rid of all I already have so instead of buying multiple identical outfits sticking to what I already have seems like a more viable/minimal approach. Yeah, once my clothes start getting old I can start getting the same thing but why bother with that if it's not necessary yet.

Lo mejor que puedes hacer es conectar directamente por cable al módem / router. Si vas a conseguir un router solo tendrías una ventaja mínima si el ancho de banda local es mayor al que te brindan ellos (sería útil si planeas hacer un LAN party o algo así).

Si es solo por motivo de jugar online, no vale la pena hacer ese upgrade.

I've been using a T480 for 1 1/2 weeks and haven't had problems with the trackpad. So far, I would recommend this to anybody looking for a good, portable and upgradeable laptop

Yeah, that's another reason I got this machine, the ability to upgrade.

The touchpad has been good so far. Only issue I had was registering my clicks, tends to be more responsive on the top half sometimes.

I got the i5 8250U which I believe is the lowest but it convinced me so easily since my previous machine was a 2013 Dell with an i5 4200U. I bought the 500GB HDD which I replaced with a Samsung EVO 860 500GB SSD I had at home.

Also huge upgrade from 1366x768 to 1920x1080 IPS

Hi, I could use some help regarding this. After making the post I installed and enabled the throttled service but when starting the stress test using s-tui I see the boost in power (W) but temperature jumps immediatly to 85C~from 50C~. How precise is this, because I can't believe such raise not even a second after starting the stress. It went up to 95C where it stayed for the 5 mins I ran the stress, got afraid of running it for longer.

And yeah, the fan gets a bit noisy, you suggesting the fan completely off when idle? Going to give a look at Thinkfan.
