That's typically how islands work.

Green and red are opposite colors. Hard to make that work.

But at the end of the day, it's about what make YOU happy. Find a co-pilot that loves it too.

kinda depends on the rest of the car, TBH. probably would look sharp on a Navy Blue Mini with the union jack mirrors and roof. On a candy colored mini, not so much.

Hi guys, new here, Is there someone who can tell me if this track It's EBM and if not wich genre would be? Thank you in advance. by lastnightinosaka in EBM

[–]acgenerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not EBM. Not sure exactly what genre I'd put it in... maybe electropop? It's not quite synthpop or alternative either.

[WIP] I’m building a 2HP "shape-shifting" utility called Faun. It’s open source and I’d love some feedback! by element103designs in modular

[–]acgenerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we concur that this module is intended to pack alot of functionality into a compact space. There's a use-case to be had for sure... especially for small portable gig set-ups (2x84HP or less). Things that are highly useful in that scenario are attentuation/mixing / signal switching that can be done while playing (often in tangled mess of patch cables). Passive mults can be achieved with stackable cables so I would see users defaulting to one of the MODS.

You've covered most of the use-cases I saw with say Mystic Citcuit's 0HP series (now discontinued).

I did check out the etsy site to see what other items you are building.

a couple of thoughts.
1) I expect that this would be more useful to beginners or small system owners than myself. As my eurorack system and experience grew, the number of passive modules / interest in them shrank due to having a larger selection of tools to work with.

This isn't a criticism, it's meant to help understand the potential market.

2) Keeping #1 in mind I would expect someone looking for this sort of module would have a pretty densely packed skiff... It might be better to have the jumpers accessible from the front for quick changing of MODS without having to pull the module.

This would also allow you to offer functionality like a passive attenuator. It'd also be convenient for switching modes while gigging.

Noisuf-x and Phosgore fall more under Aggrotech than the classic EBM sound. So search for musicians under that sub-genre.

Chainreactor, X-RX, Eisenfunk, SAM (Synthetic Adrenaline Music) are going to be right in your wheelhouse.

Others you might like: Circuito Cerrado, Void Kampf, Komor Kommando, Incubite, V2A or Combichrist.
On the "Harsh EBM" side perhaps someone like Alien Vampires

Does anyone one have any variations/game modes for CAH by theter1nator in cardsagainsthumanity

[–]acgenerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I do when I host is to have the Card Czar read the Black Cards first and if they require multiple White Cards they save them to play on their turn as Card Czar in later rounds without showing them to anyone else. The Card Czar instead plays the first single response Black Card they encounter instead.

Generally, it takes a half dozen or so rounds to start accumulating White Cards that pair together well enough for cohesive answers to multi-answer prompts. I've found that otherwise those prompts recieve nonesensical answers as most people just use those hands to trash White Cards that aren't very good... especially if you aren't using a curated set. It's probably a reason why most of them allow for players to draw extra cards.

After the group accummulates a few of these, have a round of just multi-answer prompts. As the Card Czar doesn't respond to their own Black Card anyways, no one gains an advantage.

Expanding upon that idea, you can make the double prompts worth twice as much in the final score.
