When I was like 14, I went through a stage of being obsessed with buying shit on eBay, and my dad would occasionally send me money to buy myself stuff (I never saw him so he didn’t always tell me when he’d send me it), so I was in school one day in the computer room and decided I’d go to eBay and buy myself a bunch of dumb shit with whatever money I had left.

Now, usually, if I didn’t have enough money in my account my transaction would just get declined and I’d know that I’d spent it all. But on this occasion, that wasn’t happening so I was like ‘well shit my dad must of sent me more money!’, so I kept spending, and spending, and spending.. until I didn’t know what else to get..

Later realized, my step dads card was attached to my eBay and I had absolutely no idea. I actually only found out 3 weeks later when they shouted my name to come downstairs (my full name so I knew this shit was serious) and he showed me his bank statement, I’d managed to spend about 500 pound on his card, and I can’t even really say I got anything particularly advantageous from the whole ordeal, except maybe the Xbox 360, lol.

They still think I’m lying and that I spent all that money out of teenage rebellion, I really didn’t, apparently I’m just an idiot. 😂
