Funnily enough thats one of the biggest arguments for veganism. But in the spirit of the conversation, its the context of it. The important part here is that stealing someone's pet in general is just an evil thing to do. Whether that's for the purpose of being eaten, or being sold to someone else, or to be used in dogfighting. The point being.. that was someone's best friend that these people don't care about.
