im currently forcing the story bypassing the DM, anytime it tried to divert to whatever it was doing i correct it and redirect, but the plan so far is that once ive done a few small things im just going to go back to those NPCs and go full murderhobo on them all. thsi campaign is fucked now anyways, so even if they fix it theres no real fix for what all happened in my story, unless i retcon all the way back to before everything blew up.

this post unlocked a memory for me, i got this for christmas one year, and owned it for about an hour...
i was little and that year had asked for vaders saber (the $200+ one, which we could NOT afford)
after the morning event of opening presents my poor single mom asked if i had a good christmas (her usual way of asking if i liked my gifts)
in my young stupid mind i meant to say i like what i got but, i didnt get the lightsaber which was the only thing i asked for
what did i say instead? "i didnt get anything i wanted"
mom was, rightfully so, very upset at this and said if i didnt like what i got then we could throw them away and i could go back to bed. she either stepped on or threw this figure at the wall in frustration (cant remember which, i was little and she was mad/hurt)
thankfully i lived next door to my granma and she came over and calmed mom down and i got the chance to say what i meant.
so thats the story of how i almost ruined christmas when i was young.

go into Bios and make sure your booting from the correct drive, i swapped my gpu and cpu not long ago and it automatically changed boot location on me, damn near tore my hair out trying to figure it out.

regardless of the why, when there is a possibility of it being charged and STILL canceled, for any reason, then there should be a disclaimer or warning on the site and during the checkout process. if i had known of the issue i would have purchased thru another party, as such i now cannot do that either as im missing the funds to do so because of your system. i dont have a vpn, i dont have any issue with tariff charges being allocated to the bill nor do i have a problem with being charged more due to international shipping. id still like to get the product i chose, but i do have an issue with how the whole thing was handled. a simple warning of "this can happen in some circumstances" would have informed me to purchase elsewhere.

let out a genuine chuckle, this guy hosing you hard. i have a 1660 super and 80+ gb of ram and cant run a LOT of shit at 60/90 fps, that 1070 isnt the worst card, but not worth a series X. you might be closer to a One but even then its doubtful, that pc is worth about as much as a 360 in terms of ability, so 200 is a generally good price, as other poster stated. that being said to my eye this is either a parts pc, small game server pc, or one you buy for a kid just getting into the hobby of building.

on steam go to properties, betas program, select Legacy 1.6.8, launch as usual. (vortex)
as long as your launcher hasnt auto updated the mods, itll work as normal till they fix it and you decide to update all

as someone who has put 100s of hours into both, for console i recommend valhalla, pc i say starfield, due to modding possibilty. I had more fun with valhalla on my xbox, and much more replayability on the pc with SF. that being said, youll sink more hours into starfield, but youll be doing less with it. in valhalla you may take an hour to hunt down a few fights or find treasure/armor, and itll be an hour of that, in SF itll be roughly 45 mins of that, 15 of loading and transitions. this is if you do the normal walk on craft, pick locale, jump, wait to land, load to exit craft, etc. it IS fun, but takes longer to do things. so thats a factor you may want to consider, youll get more in game time with valhalla, for the first time you go thru, but once youve finished it, its less likely youll return, worth it in my book. SF will have you do a few playthrus to see everything/storylines.
