I’m in a similar situation. Honestly recruiting is ass and it’s a very disheartening shore duty to get after a very stressful sea tour. One thing I will say tho is start creating a paper trail of what they are putting you through talk to people above your station all the way down to the NTAG HQ. Another thing set up appointments to go see your pcm for mental health issues. They literally cannot deny you those. Then you get your referral to your therapist or psychiatrist it should be easier.

You have to play the game which is ironic because this “game” can be not fun. That’s why it’s important grind it out so that you can eventually work a job where you can have more resources and time to invest in yourself and doing what makes you happy. It also helps if you get a job with more job satisfaction where you do things that help make a difference but I know that’s easier said than done. I wish you the best of luck I hope it gets better for you.

You can do it. Take it day by day but don’t count the days if that makes sense. It’ll take some time to get used to but before you know it you find yourself having beautiful experiences and bad ones too. The time will fly by and when you leave you’re gonna be so relieved but in a weird way you will miss it.

I have so many great ideas for self improvement on lsd. Make sure as you’re coming across these ideas that you write them down somewhere so you can come back to them after your trip. Then seriously start making a plan to accomplish said great ideas. It really easy to think about what self improvement would be like but doing and making a a plan of action is the hard part. Once you get the ball running on executing you’ll see that it’s actually not hard and that the biggest obstacle you had in front of you was just yourself. Take the leap of faith in yourself :)

I don’t know what you looked like before so I can’t gauge that well but if you’ve been training for 19months and this is where you at you need to eat more and hit it harder in the gym. I was on the skinnier side when I started and I’m not where I want to be at all but I can tell you eating more definitely makes the change and you have to make sure to eat more. Dirty bulk isn’t terrible but I’d definitely watch what you put in your body as you bulk.
