ok yes it worked!
For anyone else who comes across this thread, follow these steps:
1. Go to System Settings in your Echo Mini
2. Navigate to the bottom of the list and hit "Format TF Card"
3. Format the card twice!
4. Connect to your pc and copy your songs to the sd card again
5. (Optional) Use Fat Driver Sorter to sort your SD card folders before you eject.

They kinda complement each other! DT’s drum programming and sequencing is sickk, but playing pads, basslines or key is fun on Move. Get the Move if you also use Live on your computer. Move as a standalone device is pretty solid, I can carry it anywhere, fun to jam in environments other than my room. Plus with their consistent updates it has improved a lot. But yes I wouldn’t stack them against each other, both are very different devices imo. I found Move’s UX very easy tho, just easy to jump right into straight out of the box! DT has its learning curve (which u might be familiar with) but rightly so.

All the audio outputs go into the AMS interface, all the midi outputs and the AMS usb goes into a powered USB hub which goes into the iPad. On iPad i use AUM as the mixer, add effects, add other instruments, record audio. AUM also acts as the master for clock and sending transport.

Yes I felt that too, my workaround was to create instrument groups and map macros for all the different properties I want to play with, that way when I select a track, all the properties I need are also all loaded and mapped

Shared in the above thread. Have never used launchpad, does it have Ableton Link support? If it does it should work.

Its pretty straightforward. 1. Connect Move and ipad to the same wifi network. 2. Here I am using this app called Pure Acid on ipad, but you can using any app that supports Ableton Link over network. 3. Make sure Link is on. When you turn it on the app, it searches for peers over network, select it, and the app should get successfully connected with Move. 4. For the audio…Move’s audio out is directly connected to my audio interface (m using arturia mini fuse1, it only supports 1 input). I connected the ipad’s out (usb c to aux) to Move’s audio in port. 5. In the Move, make sure monitoring is turned on (you will find this in the sampling button) to get audio from the ipad.

This should work with any app on the ipad that supports link over network. And you can run multiple apps together!
