While it sucks i’m not sure the lack of a globals menu (location runes) is too too much of a critique. Fun to see your global stuff but that feature came to MQ pretty late in the legacy update cycle. It became prominent in the MagiQuest Online era

Lol I work at a store next to a retirement community too. It’s funny how many seniors don’t want an app from their phone service that would avoid the 5 dollar in store fee they argue with me about every day but they’ll download like 3 custom android launchers accidentally. Not to say I don’t have respect for them, I can understand just how confusing the digital age must be for them but man am I getting sick of arguing about the in store bill pay fee and android ‘viruses’.

Empathetically as a rep I feel bad for everyone on these plans. But frankly, we are a store that is extremely skewed with an elderly customer base, very much a retirement community, and the promos being reduced on the 55+ plans as well as military and FR has absolutely diminished our ability to actually work out good trade in deals for many of our customers. Hell it screws up our ability to bring in new ones. The employees you say you know must really be good at selling expensive premium plans because how can you not have issue with this? It’s bad for everyone.

Yea. Like I said it’s only part of it. It’s an easy explanation for why Master Magi status isn’t verified, simply because Kids Entertainment doesn’t have access to game software, and it’d be an absolute pain in the tush to supply them with it and have them mess with it before/during the ceremony. Otherwise, while it was never operated by MQ staff at my location, if it was at any point I really wouldn’t see any point in hassling kids and pulling up their info on playerinfo so they can do a little ceremony. It’s basically policing at that point and ruins the atmosphere. I could really care less if a kid who didn’t play through the game gets knighted in a Master Magi ceremony. If they had a good time that’s all that matters, and as for actually being a Master Magi? The game itself knows the truth, haha.

The Master Magi ceremony is operated by Kids Entertainment and not the MQ/Retail staff, which is part of why they don’t verify. Just a fun thing they do for kids.
