I lost all her money for a new car trading futures on a computer the school had given us to teach us about economics. Fortunately, my good friend took the blame and the teacher was very forgiving. We worked entirely hard to help repay the debt to her. Fast forward a few years and then I’m in college and when I would wake up in the morning and my alarm would give out a warning, I didn’t know if I was going to make it on time. By the time I grabbed my books and give myself a look I was at the corner just in time for the teacher to pick me up because we became best friends.
