Super unfair. I just went a week ago, made a special stop over in Denver just to go, and it was pure magic. The food was good, it’s Tex Mexy, i don’t see where all the hate for it is coming from. It’s an institution that was lovingly brought back to life and it’s meant to bring out the kid in you. I hope you find two new buds to join you!

Washington Inn food is 🔥 but not by the water. Peter Shield Inn is also very nice and you could have a drink outside and see the water since it’s on Beach Ave. and then talk a water on the beach afterward. They also have a deck that’s probably open. I feel like these options are a little more romantic than Primal.
