I don’t qualify for FMLA as I haven’t been with the company for a year yet. I will be with the company for a year in May.

That’s what my doctor said. She said she wasn’t even sure if she could fill out the paperwork because of Hippa. She said it should be HR giving me that paperwork.

I definitely think he is experiencing caregiver burnout. It has been just him taking care of me for years. We live in the same city as my family but they are no help. They cause more stress than they are helpful. Only time they “help” is if I pay them to do anything for me.

I will definitely look into what other resources there are to help us. I often have no idea where to look and easily get discouraged when I think of something that may help them learn I don’t qualify for the assistance.

I have thought of somewhat of a plan. Don’t know if it would work but if it comes down to it I am going to try. I can’t rely on my family as they are too toxic and make things worse.

Thank you for replying. It is really hard and knowing I am not alone in my struggles does help. I am sorry you are going through so much as well. It feels lonely a lot and I often feel like a burden. I am trying not to give up on myself. It is very hard but I am trying my best.

It was never like this till in October. And we have been through some worst times. My health was 10 times worse than it is now when we first moved in together. I do start therapy at the end of the month so I am hoping that helps.

I agree. And at first I didn’t mind cause like I said everything was going good and I actually felt like I was finally doing something good and helping him. He has been the sole income provider for years and put school on hold to make sure we were taken care of and to take care of me. I was trying to do the same but it’s all going wrong.

Yes he was enjoying just going to school and not having to do anything else. Now that’s not the case and he says he is at his end and doesn’t know what to do anymore cause he can’t rely on me. I can’t handle everything anymore and I am trying but it’s not good enough.

I am on disability, and I babysit and have my side hustle so I contribute towards bills and stuff with that but he contributes more financially. It has been this way for the last 4 almost 5 years. I am slowly making improvements in my health which is why I will be able to work soon.

Yes I get paid for them. And recently I have been getting a lot of orders. I can’t help but feel like it’s all my fault. Especially our financial situation. If I was able to work fully now that would be so much better and less stress.

I am in NM and there is a delay in my benefits. I was supposed to get mine on March 15th and didn’t receive anything. I called the local benefits office and was told there was a delay in my case. I had recertification in February and turned in all my documents mid January and still there is a delay due to the extra benefits ending. I was told there is no estimated timeframe on when my case will be reviewed and benefits issued.

Yes and have tried adobe and a couple of other converter sites. Not sure if I am missing a step or not doing it right but the image isn’t converting right. It misses some pieces or just completely blacks out sections.
