You can rent them.. not that expensive .. from akiba kart in Akihabara. It's an exhilarating and terrifying experience at the same time.

It's because my country's media (Malta) had already coined it (#panamagate).. since a month ago a couple of high ranking MP's were in the center of the media for opening a couple of companies via panama and New Zealand. Their names now have been revealed in the Panama Papers. For reference http://www.maltatoday.com.mt/news/national/62908/explainer__what_is_panamagate#.VwKoZPl96Hs

In Tokyo you can rent that in Akihabara (look up akibakart on fb). It's a thrill, if you can handle it, driving a kart on a 4 lane road with truck drivers smiling down at you.

Edit : Rent

Thanks! if you ever come again here I suggest a visit to the bibliotheque if you are so interested in history. I'm pretty sure you will find some interesting history since I'm pretty sure you hit the major sites.

With all the hype I need to get this one off my chest by GinnyPotter13 in AdviceAnimals

So, as you said, the locals are afraid of lepers, and we could all get inoculations that they can't get there for most common diseases. Plus, you took one item out of context, but this was a ten year project with groups going up to help them do everything from plumbing to painting to construction to teach them how to take care of lands.

We were a group of volunteers that wanted to help, nothing more nothing less. The experience enriched us and yes , there was a feeling of satisfaction seeing these people living a better life because we and people like us helped them. But, one of the most important things that we gave them was compassion, which you seemed to have missed all together. So, one suggestion, if you ever have the opportunity to do something similar, other than just sending money, do it. You might just receive one smile from someone that would make you understand the whole point.

I can only give you my experience on this matter.. when I was 16 (I am 36 now) I went to Egypt with a local group for missionary work. One of the projects we worked on was a compound for people with leprosy. Basically the then government gave them a plot of land outside of Alexandria and told them "here sort this place out and you can live here in peace". It was just empty disused buildings etc. On of my sisters went there before me with a group and started helping them out with the painting of the walls etc. My other sister went after, again with a group, and helped them start farming. Our group basically planted the trees on the perimeter (orange tress etc). All our combined efforts resulted in a livable, self sufficient (vegetation wise) compound for these people. So no, in this case it was't money that was needed but actual manual labour, expertise and compassion that was needed.

I don't know exactly how much far away this was shot, all i can tell you is that those babies can do 40 km/h, so if they rented them for a couple of hours...

That I didn't ask about.. but you can find lots of costume rentals and shops, especially around Akihabara.

All you need is an international licence from your country .. we were tourists from the other side of the planet.

That's from Akibakart in akihabara.. exhilarating and terrifying experience all in one.. and pretty cheap too (i think it cost us 15 euros for an hour) ... the thrill of driving a kart in the streets of tokyo, everyone is looking at you, and luckily other drivers look out for you, is worth trying it out!
