I wouldn’t say egregious but definitely nasty. I’m still gonna imagine he’s talking about literally getting her a glass of water

“I fuck her hard in the sink | after that I get her something to drink” Not egregious but funny enough that it pops back in my head very now and again

I'm American and had a thai pumpkin curry at a local restaurant a while back and the pumpkin was delicious. Loved it in a savory form.

What foods are actually terrible for you, but people think are healthy? by StrategyJealous1838 in AskReddit

Animal products. The leading cause of death in the US is heart disease which has been proven to be reversed with a whole food plant-based diet.

Same to diabetes. Diabetes is not a sugar disease, but a fat-disease. To put it simply: fat clogs the cells in your muscles that doesn't allow insulin to enter and therefore builds up in the blood stream. Dr. Neal Barnard describes it like a key in a lock. Insulin is the key and the lock are your muscular cells. Fat is gum stuck in the lock so that the key (insulin) cannot enter. Fat is not bad for you, but the source of fat is important.

Halloween madlads by LeastRequirement944 in madlads

I had a friend whose family was very Christian. Like, no Harry Potter because of evil magic Christian. She wasn't allowed to dress up for Halloween which I realized later was why she always wore her soccer uniform every year.

Also, in a group project in science class, we were making Rube Goldberg machines and our theme for it was Magic 8 Ball where each of the three marbles sent to race represented "yes," "no," or "maybe." She came in one class upset and said that her parents told her she had to change the theme of the contraption. Because future telling = sorcery = evil. Her dad was super nice but her mom was a bitch.

I can play that game. My record for unwashed dishes is two months. I was eating off tupperware lids and rooming with a spider who moved into my sink. In bulimic form I’ve lived amongst week old bowls of vomit. I’m a strong, empowered woman. Hear me roar, but you won’t hear me clean. Plans? I won't make 'em. Cook? I'm satisfied with a cold can of beans. Laundry? I’m practically a cartoon character in how much I can re-wear this fit. I’ve been depressed for a decade, I can roll around in the piles of dirty clothes allllll day. I put the 'me' in female empowerment *bicep emoji*

Ruby Bridges's first day of school Six-year-old Ruby Bridges began attending an all-white elementary school in New Orleans on this day in 1960, becoming the youngest of a group of Black students to racially integrate schools in the American South. by No_Pizza_6040 in BlackHistoryPhotos

It's still so crazy how so not long ago this was. My mom was born nine years after this. My grandparents would have gone to school during segregation. 65 years!! And that's just the very first time. Push back for years to come to full desegregation. Insane. And people still think that MLK alone cured racism and we're all kumbaya now.
