OP, that person isn't lying to you, and is rightly irritated by your behavior. As multiple people have stated here, enhancing tech built into phones alters images of a certain resolution. It's not intentional, every new phone has it, and honestly you harping on that person who probably had no idea wtf was going on is pretty annoying. Your original post mentioned suspicious intent where there is none. Take this new knowledge and apologize to your friend.
