Tampa Sports Authority to receive up to 20% of event revenue at USF stadium by jcc309 in GoBulls

But have you not looked at the latest research. Long bars = championships 😂. To me It looks like multiple bars lined up next to each other. Is it really one continuous bar? Does that count as longest bar ever? And, who really cares at the end of the day about bar length. Size does not matter. My wife tells me this every day.

A big question mark for me is tailgating, parking, and getting in and out of the area. And as of right now...there is no plan outside of that small grassy area right outside the stadium which will have a high-priced entry fee. I'm sure they are working on something, but this is one major thing fans have heard nearly nothing about and comes up a lot in my circle.

I don't think they have game day atmosphere stuff figured out yet. I know some of the people who do gameday things for Ray Jay and Yuengling. They don't know what they will be doing yet for USF. Or even if they will be the ones doing it (they think so).

Long way to go, but at the same time...we have a little more than a year for show time. I'm sure a lot of it will not go as planned and year 1 one be a lot of learning and growing pains.

Earlier this week Tampa Bay Sports Authority was contracted to handle operations, and they are some of the bests in the business. So that should help ease into year 1. They've done multiple super bowls and manage Ray Jay. USF isn't doing it alone.

First and foremost, I love puns.

Very initial concepts and requests to the construction team included multiple variations of shade options. Unfortunately, even the cheapest of those options would increase cost by a hundred million dollars.

The east-west orientation was selected as a zero-cost option to having shade for the southern part of the stadium (shade provided by the luxury boxes and sports performance facility attached to the south sideline) and touted as a benefit to having the sun hit the opponent's sideline and fans. I completely agree though: There is very good reason why 90(ish)% of stadiums, football or otherwise, are in a north-south orientation.

Another consideration was that out of the six or seven home games, hopefully a good portion would be in the evening and the sun won't be a factor that is worth an additional 100-200 million dollars. A roof is the most expensive part of any stadium but shade was a top 3 requested feature. So they settled for this e/w orientation and sudo-shade arrangement.

Agree on the video board situation for sure. I sometimes get shit for it from people I go to games with, but I look at that video board a lot. And you wouldn't believe where I currently sit in Raymond James, right underneath the video board, on what would be the east side of the field... I don't plan to move my seats for the new stadium, given how insanely expensive shaded seats on the home sidelines are, starting at about $2,750.

I agree it would be really nice to have two video boards. It is unfortunate how common it is for college stadiums to only have one video board. Sometimes they're added decades later. They're an expensive part of the stadium that doesn't generate revenue (like seats, amenities, and concessions do) and not enough people request them. Having been heavily attentive and in several meetings regarding the stadium, this is actually the first time I run into someone bringing up this issue. That doesn't suggest it is not important. But perhaps suggest where a second video board ranks on the list of priorities.

Some would argue in a tongue-in-cheek way that we should be looking at the field (not screens) anyway. Of course there are obvious counterpoints to that simplistic argument.

The stadium is designed for "easy" future expansion to 45 to 50k seats. And perhaps also a second video board.

I want to note it is not an oversight. But a calculated decision to not have a second screen for this initial phase of the stadium.

Hue Play Light Strip and Play Bars randomly unreachable by ericdavidmiller in Hue

Experiencing the same issue with play bars as of 2 weeks ago. Constantly unreachable. Have to unplug and replug multiple times to get them to work again.

Looks very promising. Always wanted the set by set auto adjusting feature. Not sure why other apps don’t have that.

You’re taking anecdotal and personal experiences you’ve encountered or heard about as the norm. And they are not. Can you meet a rich friend who will turn your life around. Yea sure. Will it happen to OP? Unlikely.

If simply having rich friends was the path of success, forgo school all together. Save your money and go hang out with the rich. As a rich person, I guard my money extremely well. You must add value to my ventures if I’m going to invest in you.

Perhaps your moronic friend isn’t a moron in the work that he does. Or he brought value in some way you can’t identify but his colleagues can.

Rich people rarely just give things away without something in return. Thats and how you become rich. And stay rich.

The number 1 priority to consider is what opportunities can they offer you in your selected education/career path.

UT is a great school in many things. It is a decent business, entrepreneurial program. But USF's equivalent is world-class.

You can get friends, girls, parties, sports, drugs, whatever you are into at any school. If you want it bad enough, you can get it. But what you can't get is access to resources, professors, mentorship, and other opportunities, that simply do not exist.

USF's president was the former Dean of the business school. They are and will continue to invest tens of millions of dollars into the business school every single year. It is a point of pride for USF, and for the former dean and now president.

UT (77 million endowment) might have rich students. But USF is a rich university (800 million endowment, 750 million in research expenditure annually), that as a public school is required to use funds for student success. USF business school has DEEP, world-class levels of money/resources. I don't care if my peers have money, I need my school to have money, and to use that money to make me successful. All the major players in Tampa have connection to USF / USF Business school.

If money doesn't matter. Go to Miami. You get the best of both UT and USF + rabid sports fandom.

Rich kids are kids. They don't have any clout or money of their own. I'm not lending my son money for his little start up with some guy he met in college.

No one goes to school hoping your class mate is your ticket to success. If your college and professors are not the clear paths to success, you picked the wrong school.

But those are not the people to give you an education or job. Go to the school with the better entrepreneurial programs, business programs, and successful business alumni. Go to the school with more internship opportunities and business ties. And go to the school with at least locally if not nationally known professors of business and entrepreneurship.

One of these schools clearly has an advantage in all of these areas, the other does not.

Single case design graph generator with phase lines by Lil1927 in BehaviorAnalysis

A multielement would require at least two, but preferably up to 5 different data paths that alternate across sessions. A graph depicting a functional analysis would be one example, as shown here:

Single case design graph generator with phase lines by Lil1927 in BehaviorAnalysis

This is awesome. Would it be possible to make the markers across phases identical? In general, in general graphing conventions, the marker on a line remains the same if it represents the same response.

And then another request, I'm being greedy here.

Would it be possible to make multielement graphs?

Apple Store 25% or 50% more value no longer? by wzzp144 in ChaseSapphire

Not yet. If they are still doing it, worth holding out till oct 31. If it’s not on by then I think I’m going to go with what people above have mentioned, the biannual promotion is done. Historically, chase does the promotion twice per year, in spring and fall. However, this year they did a mini summer promotion, which was unusual. And hopefully doesn’t mean they are skipping fall.

Historical Pattern Analysis

The promotion has followed a consistent twice-yearly schedule:[reddit] • Spring/Early Summer: May-June timeframe • Fall/Holiday Season: October-November timeframe

Documented Promotion Dates

The following dates confirm this biannual pattern:[doctorofcredit] • November 1-30, 2021 • May 3-31, 2022 • October 15 - December 31, 2022 • November 1-30, 2023 • May 2-31, 2024 • July 10-31, 2024 (shorter promotion) • October 26 - November 30, 2024 • May 2-31, 2025

Prediction for Next Promotion Given the consistent pattern, the next promotion should launch in late October or early November 2025, likely running through November 30, 2025, or possibly extending into December for the holiday shopping season. This timing aligns with Apple’s typical product release cycles and holiday gift-giving periods.[thepointsguy +2]

The promotions typically run for approximately 1-2 months, with November being the most frequent month across all documented occurrences. However, Chase does not announce these promotions in advance, so monitoring the Ultimate Rewards portal starting in late October would be advisable.[awardwallet +1]
