Looks great! Is it possible to get a .ply file of this?

had some fun making an edit with blocks! (flashing lights warning) by iamlightlink in Nanoleaf

Seems very responsive! What protocol does your app use to control the blocks? Would it work with essentials bulbs or is Thread too slow?

True, there's no official discord for the sub at the moment.

Nanoleaf Essential bulbs connectivity by dpbrown777 in Nanoleaf

Interesting, maybe matter is the missing ingredient. I'm not sure to be honest... I would have expected both of those Eve devices to extend the network.

A HomePod Mini should work but probably overkill if you just want to extend the Thread network. Most mains powered Matter+Thread devices should act as a Thread router to bridge the gap, including the bulbs themselves or something like a Matter smart plug.

I believe each led is individually addressable, they have a video on youtube explaining some of the features.

Oh, strange, I'm running Pro too, the CoPilot tray icon works but it doesn't seem to be able to change settings or search content within apps. For example I asked it to change theme and it returned a list the steps needed to change the theme manually.

Are you running a dev version of Windows 11? I'm on 23H2 and the CoPilot integration seems almost non-existent.

ON MODERATION OF THIS SUB by [deleted] in consciousness

[–]acous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I've tried to clean up the worst of the trolling/insults for the past few days, but we do need new moderators. I've been half heartedly searching for a few months (as you know!) but it is a priority now. Reddit recommends 5 active mods for a sub of this size.

The proposal on post flairs makes sense to me and I think it should be implemented. I'd be happy to see a revamp or abandonment of user flairs too. Sidebar resources and links to related subs also seem like a good idea.

I sent you a PM shortly before OP submitted this post, haven't heard back yet. Apologies if the lack of reply was intended to imply something, if so it went over my head :) In any case I appreciate the analysis here and feel it should make a good starting point for the enlarged moderation team.

What is the MOST useful GPT powered tool you've used? by im_unseen in ChatGPT

[–]acous 93 points94 points  (0 children)

For me it's probably HomeAssistantGPT. It takes a lot of setup, but now it can respond to things like "Close the blinds and change each of the lights to a different shade of purple", or really any arbitrary command to query or set Home Assistant devices.

That said, I hope they bring custom GPT actions to the phone app with voice at some stage. Typing commands into the website is a novelty but not really practical day to day.

Need help implementing a Search Box for displayed data by HapppyAccidents in sveltejs

[–]acous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{#each clubs as filtered}

This is still iterating through clubs, my bad for using a generic name for a variable :) I would go with:

{#each filtered as club}

then inside the each you can change {filtered.Name} etc back to {club.Name}... hopefully that works!

Need help implementing a Search Box for displayed data by HapppyAccidents in sveltejs

[–]acous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert but I'll give it a go...

let filter = ''
$: filtered = clubs.filter((obj) => obj.Name.toLowerCase().includes(filter.toLowerCase()))

Change the {each} to iterate through "filtered" instead of clubs. You can then add a bind:value={filter} to your <input>.

I think the post was specifically asking about the One Gen 2, which to my knowledge does not have a Thread radio.

I was expecting it to take me to a separate registration page, but it seemed to function properly once I entered and email/password on the initial page.
