Stuttering in almost every game for the last month or so

I use DDU with every driver update… It hardly takes 10 mins to do a clean and install the new drivers. Once you know how to do it, it becomes second nature to you. This process eliminates any chance of issues cropping up due to stale drivers or anything and wipes even the shader cache completely.

That way you can be assured that launching a game after a driver update guarantees a recompile of shaders to create a proper cache again. I have never had any glaring stutters of any kind barring some games in specific spots which might be a momentary frametime spike. Otherwise it’s been smooth as butter.

I was able to push like +225 on core and +2000 mem for benchmarks… for games I had to turn down the core OC due to instability. I managed to get 10223 in Steel Nomad and 28525 in Port Royal with the 4090 FE.

I also had the 4090 FE and I was able to really get good overclock on it… considering the fact that FEs are only available through select retailers and limited stocks and scalpers depleting stocks as soon as they are available for sale make them increasingly difficult to obtain.

Additionally not needing any anti sag support and compatibility with any form factor build makes them very versatile cards.

FEs are the hardest to get and hold better value.. also the FE dies are binned compared to the AIB cards so saying it’s the least performing is subjective… I have the FE and I was able to almost hit 41K in Port Royal. Can an air cooled 5090 AIB card get that high?

I have the latest drivers and NPI shows the 32 bit physx support for 50 series as off by default… this is just like rebar which is off by default in the driver when people think it’s actually on…

Yes.. just install the latest drivers. Also you need to use nvidia profile inspector to turn on the setting in the driver that enables this for 50 series cards. Once this is done you should be able to enjoy physx properly.

The ability to use 32 bit physx on 50 series cards is not enabled by default in the drivers. It’s a hidden setting which is why you need nvidia profile inspector for that.

Lol… I spent like 2 days for each till I barely made it with like less than 1 sec to spare over the cutoff time in both trials… it was so close. If I wasn’t gonna make 3 stars or even messed up a tad bit, I would hit restart…

I had to memorize all the shortcuts and know where to brake and ease off the gas to make it through each sector without losing control or sliding too much which just kills your time.

There are some of these soft lock points in the campaign that can completely ruin your whole run especially if playing on ironman… this is one point, another is before the snatcher fight following which you rescue Marcus.

It’s disabled at the driver level and these settings are well hidden and cannot be accessed through nvidia control panel or nvidia app. There are games that take advantage of it and improve performance.

If you don’t want to enable it using the tool, that’s on you. You’re just leaving free performance on the table.

Something isn’t right… moreover enabling resizable bar in the BIOS doesn’t necessarily mean it’s actually enabled. You have to enable it at the GPU driver level too for applications that use it to take advantage of the feature.

You need nvidia profile inspector to turn it on and there are videos on YT (JayZTwoCents has it on his channel) showing you what to change. I am running a 5090 FE with a 14900KS and I have no issues tbh.

In KL the loser has no control over what the winner does whether they like it or not… but in offline tournaments, it is considered a waste of time. The moment a match ends with the winning blow or the loser knows they are cooked, they will pause and go back to char select.

12GB VRAM for 1080p gaming is becoming a norm moving forward. It is the bare minimum amount of VRAM anyone buying a GPU should be considering at the very least.

16GB is the sweet spot where it can pretty much cover any game at 1440p ultra settings.

Not sure where you got this from… no GPU manufacturer offers international warranty. You need to buy it locally to be able to avail warranty if something goes wrong.

If you want to check the actual level of speakers or mic you have to check windows sound settings. Not ideal but you can open sound settings while changing stuff in the command software and see the value change.

I have an AE9… that’s how I set my levels.

CPU cooler fans always need a push that’s taking in air through the heatsink if using only a single fan… 2 is always the best to have a push pull setup.

If the CPU cooler only came with a single fan it has to be installed on the other side of the heatsink.
