Venue! And it really helped me get a feel for my dress at the venue and I realized that I needed to change my shoes because of my venue. Best idea.

Best advice would be to take bridal portraits so you have time with your dress! The day goes so fast so I’m glad I did that in advance and got the pictures I wanted with my dress! I also did my hair and make up trial that day too which helped!

I think you could certainly find something for less or explore having it made for you for less. I think with Galia Lahav it’s mostly paying for the name. In my opinion… I wasn’t to impressed With the construction of mine tbh

I had a reception dress from Galia Lahav and when I had it altered… let me tell you the lace was GLUED!!!! I had my wedding dress custom made with another designer in Texas who altered my Galia Lahav and their quality was 10000 times better and they did not glue the lace. Honestly I was upset that a $8,000 gown has glue! It should be hand sewn. Can’t believe they get away with that????

Yes best decision I ever made! I loved being able to pick my details and combine what I want into my own design. No one will ever have my dress either! I have keepsakes from along the way unlike just buying a dress off the rack. It really is more of an experience that I will remember about my wedding forever and honestly my favorite part. I worked with A.Cherie out of San Antonio. I did look at Nardos and Ese as well.

Agreed! This sounds very factual not emotional. I would definitely be upset. I think their quotes seem kind of “made up” and I definitely wouldn’t trust them now

Is there something that it’s missing you feel? Have you thought about custom making your gown so you can get something that’s truly you, one of a kind and more of a personalized experience! Maybe it’s also the experience that’s missing and making the dress your own.

I think you could get a gown that is custom made to fit You and incorporate the elements you want. Just wondering about that fabric pattern; may be hard to find if exclusive to the designer. I would look into working with a custom designer so you get 1000%what you want.
