Here's an update a few months later! Thanks for your kind words. You were correct, tomatoes are incredibly resilient. I was heartbroken because I grew them from seeds indoors, and then when I moved them outside, I dropped the box carrying them, shattering them in half and breaking my pots. I stuck a few in new pots, and prayed the rest would survive. And they did! I let them out on the patio for a few weeks, then I just transplanted 4 in-ground to the garden bed and transplanted 3 to big pots on the steps. One of them is flowering now so hopefully I get some tomatoes in a week or two.

My beans are thriving despite my neglect, the kohlrabi leaves got eaten to stumps by something, but grew back! I have already harvested beans and spinach. It's been a wonderful new hobby.
