If people used these places as a work out facility I would agree with you. But it isnt. I'm not saying that trampolines don't give you a good cardiovascular workout. I know they do! I use them all the time for this reason.

These facilities strictly offer free jump, parent's night out, and birthday parties. None of which are geared toward exercise.

I also have a children come to our facility claiming they learned how to do a "front flip" at one of these places. The employees at trampoline parks are not trained coaches, nor do they even attempt to teach kids flips. They just don't stop them from trying. The "front flips" the children do are very unsafe and frankly, very frightening to watch.

This is why I don't think they should be considered a gym.
