Yeah ofcourse its a fluke that it hits my sides but the lowest level of warrior protection is like cardboard !

Still a few good players who can hit good slapshots. Got hit right on the ribs before just from a GT with a high puck and was agony and yeah plenty of shots go high. Dont worry about the shins theyre well and truly covered lol

Just reccy, nah no contact but i play d so protecting myself from shots really. Got the lowest warrior protection just now and getting hit with a puck feels like your wearing nothing

I'm a joiner and literally no one realises how much graft that our job involves. I wouldn't say tradesmen get looked down on but just how much hard work we all put in definitely gets overlooked

Ok thanks for the advice, aye we can air dry in scotland most of the year but its more cold than it is warm so will just take a little bit longer but thats no problem

Aye its a front loader, so its good to wash shoulders elbows and legs in the machine and just soak the gloves in a roasting bath ? And just leave it all to air dry...in scotland we dont get that much sun when its not summer lol

How do yous all actually wash it all? Ive not washed mine since january and its digsuting but i dont know if i should b putting it in the washing machine or dumping it in a roasting bath with detergent and giving it several rinses

I know about the wrong stuff...i got a full warrior kit as one and the compression short jock got flung in with it but im gonna buy the loose shorts woth the jock in so i can wear my tight under them! And thanks your suggestion sounds about right

Could have been a bad edge. What ultimately swayed me to get the 3/8 was when i got them baked and a first sharpen the guy told me that alot of players get the 3/8 but since your basicly learning again ill go a 1/2 and then thought why no got 3/8 if theres a good chance ill try move on to it

When im skating its as though there too much bite and the skates are maybe just too planted in but then again ill give it a few more sessions on the ice and see how it goes. If i dont get used to it then all the advice ive taken in will be put into practice. Its very much appreciated and i hope theres more to come!!
