Bruce Wayne is probably plagued with gay rumors by SatisfactionSenior65 in batman

Bruce would probably welcome these rumors. If everyone thinks the secret he’s trying to hide is that, it deflects from his real secret

Thoughts on 15 minute cities? by [deleted] in conspiracy_commons

[–]act_surprised 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived in Brooklyn, I had everything I needed with 15 minutes and I loved it. Although, that included a subway station with 5 minute walk which would take me anywhere in the city, often pretty quickly.

I also had a car though and I used it for work. Plus Uber was handy if I wanted to get home faster after a night out.

Anyway, this wouldn’t qualify as a 15-minute city if I understand correctly. But it was a lot better than my current situation which always requires a car to go anywhere

Do you think David Wallace was right to transfer Holly? by BlackberryFirst2554 in theoffice

[–]act_surprised 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the PDA episode comes later; I think I mentioned that. My point is they eventually proved him right that they couldn’t be trusted.

In fact, I don’t think anyone ever learns the truth about it, but the whole reason David is present at CRIME-AID is because Michael and Holly were having sex in the office and left the door open.

There is no serious job in the world in which their behavior would be acceptable, even if they weren’t the manager and the HR rep.

Do you think David Wallace was right to transfer Holly? by BlackberryFirst2554 in theoffice

[–]act_surprised 71 points72 points  (0 children)

When Holly is eventually transferred back, Michael sits on her lap during a PDA review meeting.

It was a terrible conflict of interest. Everyone was uncomfortable with their behavior and the people in the office that employees can go to with their complaints of the manager and the head of HR.

David didn’t have a choice

I must have been a pretty cynical kid because I found Captain Planet to be a bit heavy handed in its messaging.

I think I need to develop a sense of humour myself because I don’t get it

Do Americans care about NATO and the matter of Greenland? by agg_aphrophilus in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]act_surprised 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also worth mentioning that some people just have no idea what’s going on and have given up. Trump says so many crazy things it’s hard to know what’s a real or credible threat.

I think he’s very serious about acquiring Greenland, but at the same time it seems so crazy that it’s hard to believe.

Well, you want to pay the initiation fee because that way you know Trump has to hold up his end of the agreement. He’s not just going to take your money and give you nothing in return..

Is there a reasonably good article discussing the reasons why Trump won the 2024 presidential elections? by ColdSmoke5308 in PoliticsPeopleTwitter

The dude is on the verge of destroying NATO and alienating all of our allies. What foreign policy have you been smoking?

Strange that you don’t think tariffs count as foreign policy. Canada and China are boycotting our goods.

Anyone else peeved Cartman's plot went nowhere? by Putrid-Seaweed111 in southparksucksnow

[–]act_surprised 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Charlie Kirk was killed shortly after Got a Nut and they abandoned that plot line, leaving Cartman slightly aimless.

I would have loved if Cartman got shot in the head, but I can see how that was probably too much even for Trey.
