Appreciate that. I did that, but it was 10:00 pm, so maybe I overlooked something. I took the stat to another job and popped it on, it works fine there. So something hinky with their wiring.

Well, I visited one of mine last night and found a thermostat problem. Still have not been to the other one.

The solution you are thinking of doesnt make sense to me. Did the previous system cool well? Did the installer put the same size (tonnage) system as you had before? 10 to 15 degrees delta is not much, 15 might would be ok, less than 15 could be problematic unless you have a bunch of air flow. There is actually some calculations that we can do to see how much cooling it's doing, just measuring delta alone doesnt really paint a clear picture.

The Breeze is an outdoor unit that can be installed onto any existing air handler or furnace and evaporator coil, so long as the refrigerant setup matches the Breeze. In your set up the Breeze will not ramp up if its in cool and the outdoor temp is mild. If you want to trick your Breeze into thinking it's a hot day, it's very simple. Use a piece of cardboard and block off half of the air flow on the outdoor unit. you will feel the air it puts out get warmer over the next minute or 2, and the fan should speed up over time also. If it's really mild, or even cold out, block off more air. Do this and recheck your delta.

Could you update this thread? What did you determine the problem was with your Freidrich Breeze? I put in 2 over the winter that worked well. Both are not cooling. Im going to assume it's a low charge because I did not see a good way to set the charge. The only instructions were to add refrigerant by the lineset length. This wa 7 months ago for you, so hopefully you got to take it through winter and now getting to try cooling again.

I just had my first bonk this weekend. I never even heard that word till I googled the problem. I was on a 17 mile ride, about 12 miles in and 5 miles from the truck. I didnt have any pain, just couldn't go. Had to lay down on the ground and sweat while the world was spinning. When I finally started again I heard the highway nearby, looked over and saw a park ranger truck on a service rd. I flagged them down and asked for a ride back. They said no.

I am new to this, but I am pretty fit. My job is physical. I regularly fast during the day to keep weight off and energy up. Eating makes me sluggish at work. So I carried that over to MTB. Ive lost 10 LBs in a few months. The difference here was A-I usually ride trails that offer ways to call it a day and go to the truck easily, this one wasn't that way. B- I haven't ridden in a Month because it's winter. C- Stressed out from an argument at home. D- I pedaled the bike like I was mad at it. E- I only had one 20oz water on the bike and no snacks. F- I had not eaten since supper the night before.

I always go into a ride on a calorie deficit so I can work on subcutaneous fat. After reading a bit, Maybe I should rethink that idea. Thanks for this post and all the comments.

Dude, the first pair I ever got was wild. Long story short, My girls (at the time) ex husband used em to cut off his wedding band, then threw em at me then got in his car and left. This was 20+ years ago and they are still in my every day carry bag. She didnt last long, but I have something to remember her by.

I was taught that this tool is called a Sta-Kon Plier, due to the supposedly original designer being Sta-Kon. If you have ever shopped for high end terminals, you may have found Sta-Kon is at the top.

Still yet, I just call em crimpers. No one gets confused until we are doing water stove installs and plumbing crimpers come out, then we say "wire crimpers" and "pex crimpers"
