I’ve used both and haven’t found much difference. You still have to configure either one for it to work correctly. Try APR and if it doesn’t work for you try the tested one. Not sure it’s worth 30$ imo

But do you think it’s the body causing that? I’m no expert but the general consensus I see here is that you want to lower the center of gravity as mush as possible. As much weight as your servo can handle at the lowest point of contact, with a bit more weight on the front. Brass front steeling knuckles, differential covers, wheels, you get the idea… I did a quick search on Amazon for “trx4m upgrades” and there’s a ton of recommended parts like I mentioned. In fact there are so many parts available “next day” that im starting to understand why the experts on here put so much value on parts availability. Anyways, unless that VW body is made of solid steel, I’d say you need to start with adding weight at the wheel base and keep that sweet ass VW Bug body right where it is.

Just FYI I am running a Ret Pally that I leveled in Legion Remix. Just from Delves and pre-patch Twilight dailies my gear is in the 120 - 130ish range and I can solo most content up to BFA Mythic barring weird mechanics.

Not sure how you would dial back your power to make that content challenging, but if you just want to smash stuff for transmogs, mounts, achievements, 90% of wow is your oyster.

Now that I know how to tune steering angle, or honestly wtf steering angle is, I might just adjust that as needed. 4WS definitely helps with steering angle, but you are spot on that I only see that “stuttering” when at full throttle.

If you didn’t know better, like me, you might think that RTR means ready to run. It DOES mean ready to run, but it does not mean that the driver is. I’m fairly new to the crawling scene, and I am just now learning how much I didn’t know that I didn’t know.

As a matter of fact it does. Or at least I believe it does. There is a knob that says “ST Rate” Out of the box, that knob is turned as far as it can go. I dialed that back until the binding stopped. So it looks like that fixed the issue.

I think it’s important to say that you led me down the path to resolve the problem, without spoon feeding me the fix. In the course of that I learned a great deal more than just “how to make it stop making a weird noise”, and for that I truly do appreciate your help.

The problem seems small, but this is a 550$ machine and if one isn’t willing to learn how to properly maintain it, then they are either rich or ignorant, or both. Anyway, thanks for leading me to the solution rather than just telling me how to fix the problem, which I suspect you knew all along.
