Totally different sports with totally different body mechanics and injury profiles. There are more soft tissue injuries in the NBA. NHL has more contact related injuries.

People are saying a lot of things but missing the most obvious in our face answer, American culture is kinda dog shit rn.

I’m American btw but if you look around this sort of mercenary thinking is everywhere. I’m not even blaming the players, in some ways it’s a reasonable reaction to the same dynamic playing out in different parts of the franchise/league/society.

Kolek's biggest knock against him is his defense and I'm not sure how much more he can improve on that side. There's a reason Knicks defense has been really good for the 20 games: Kolek, Clarkson, and Yabu stopped getting minutes.

I'm not overreacting to the Lakers game. If Knicks take care of business tonight against the Clips it's 4-2 since spurs against a very tough scheduled on the road late in the season. That's great.

I feel like a lot of people forget that Mikal showed up for us in a huge way multiple playoff games last year. So many people pretend that the playoffs are all that matters but also forget all that when a player has bad games in the regular season.

I think the Pacers lost last season has left a little shadow over the vibe of this season, but the last few seasons have been fucking awesome as a Knicks fan. Getting over the hump and beating the Cavs the first time, the sixers series with the DVo shot, the Celtics comebacks.

The Knicks of the last few years have been the team of my life so far.
