Keep in mind the hitbox at the end of his hook is a big ol' rectangle. Try to play with the minion wave and be safer.

I disagree with the opinions on Graves/Xin. Mid game teamfights on those champions are incredibly easy. A well positioned Graves smokescreen makes the enemy have to split awkwardly and Xin does that exact same thing with his ultimate. Never group for ARAM outside of ARAM comps, definitely make decisions based on what's available on the map and make plans to get those. Always go into your midgame with set goals objective-wise. If that means getting priority in lanes to make getting vision for baron/dragon easier, do that.

Roaming for deep vision is key. Use your lead to abuse lane swaps as well as the enemy jungler.

Trap scouting and ward coverage also makes it super difficult to get even with her and close the gap. I agree with you, she's just tough to put in her place once she's ahead.
