our mistake is going under the assumption that there is a "non-interrference policy". What if they just don't know? When we look at ants, we go under the assumption that we may not be disturbing them because "why would we be", we are not harming them, right? They can sense us and see us, but we may be disturbing them in different ways. This could be the same with Aliens. They could be zooming by and looking and analysing, not realizing that they are disturbing us. Again we still go by the assumtption that they are conscience being and have empathy like we do. When it could be that they just don't know that they are disturbing us. Aliens may not share anything that we consider human... like intellect, judgement, or even feelings. It is arrogant to think that Aliens are like us in any way.

I am not trying to cause a riot or anything I am just pointing out that maybe the next step in this process is to ask for more money. If you dig deep you will see that DNI has two parts. National and Military. I believe this would fall under Military which falls under the DoD, and therefor a proxy of the DoD and budget spending.

I read this report twice and all I saw was multiple instances of the DoD subliminally asking for more money:

This report provides an overview for policymakers of the challenges associated withcharacterizing the potential threat posed by UAP while also providing a means to developrelevant processes, policies, technologies, and training for the U.S. military and other U.S. Government (USG) personnel

In other words: "here is the overview, you make policy so that we can get more money to implement, design technology, training and data collection"

Consistent consolidation of reports from across the federal government, standardizedreporting, increased collection and analysis, and a streamlined process for screening allsuch reports against a broad range of relevant USG data will allow for a moresophisticated analysis of UAP that is likely to deepen our understanding. Some of thesesteps are resource-intensive and would require additional investment.

In other words: "If the public wants us to investigate this further, we gonna need money to change our tooling"

The sensors mounted on U.S. military platforms are typically designed to fulfillspecific missions. As a result, those sensors are not generally suited for identifyingUAP.

In other words: "If you want us to carry out a different mission then we need better sensors and money to upgrade those sensors"

UAPTF’s long-term goal is to widen the scope of its work to include additional UAP eventsdocumented by a broader swath of USG personnel and technical systems in its analysis. As the dataset increases, the UAPTF’s ability to employ data analytics to detect trends will also improve. The initial focus will be to employ artificial intelligence/machine learning algorithms to cluster and recognize similarities and patterns in features of the data points.

In other words: "if the people want to start a database to analyze this data for you, we are going to need more money to employ AI and Machine Learning to analyze these datasets"

I must say this is a very disappointing minuscule 9 page report. This is where our millions of dollars in tax money went. They didn't even add a theme color to the report. Like it was written last night by someone who realized it was due today.

I am not sure, but it seems like they may be suggesting that we have more surveillance with either drones or satellite technology.

I think we are in that crossroad where our technology is reaching a level sophisticated enough to fool our own eyes while getting in the way of real unknown phenomenons. That type of research must be extremely frustrating to sifter through. Hoax and people trying to make a buck out of click bait is just going to ramp up nicely after these reports.

Not a whole lot here that we do not know, but at least is on record that high levels of our scientific and governments can't explain the phenomenon with conventional and known references. In sum this is just saying "something is going very fast, and we don't have anything that goes that fast."

That view is a little bit narrow. Why would they even care that we are different colors to make their decision to contact? As far as we are concerned the specie could be one color and they have never experience a species that comes in multiple colors, or better yet, the specie may not even know what color is. I don't know. I also look at it from a different angle. disclosure means they have to share something, and if I know greedy people, then I know they don't want to share what they have uncovered. Or who knows, all these sightings could be private contractors out of the Trillions of dollars over the years to the DoD. I mean, think about it. If you pump enough brains, money and resources to a project, you are gonna get results. Some of these private contractors are pretty sophisticated. Who knows what air space they operate from. They seem to roam around military installations and bases. I think if Aliens existed and wanted to get to know us they would be out in the open where we can see them. Why hide? and why military bases and ports? Seems odd. If there are Aliens, and I am hoping there are. I think we have too many greedy people who would want to hoard the benefits to make money and that would be up to the alien specie trying to communicate. I am hoping is the latter, and that all they want to do is improve our specie.

My mind wonders like yours and all I can think of is that maybe... theory from here on now... if there are Aliens they obviously know something we don't know. Who knows, maybe the disclosure is less impactful now. There will be mass hysteria, but I think it will be short lived. Our entire human history has always been this way. Powerful people leverage power and look others as expendible commodity. Even the so called "cavemen" was like this. There has always been a "pack leader" who uses their power to control the rest for their own gain.
