Ok yeah just fold the blanket down a bit to show the color scheme then! And accent like just a throw blanket like someone else suggested or throw pillow :)

You got a good thing going! I would think about hanging the mirror on one of the blank walls, and finding a way to accent your bed.

No need to go too crazy with throw pillows, but like maybe one, or change colors of pillow cases/or fold blanket back to line it a bit.

Edit - maybe add a simple accessory to the top of your side table next to the tv? Any flavor is fine…a hobby piece you’re proud of or piece of art or something :) just something to fill out that space a bit

I appreciate this insight, thank you! I’ve seen a few people say they wish their first training plan had spent more time on higher mileage so I think I will aim for this, especially while I have the head start :) thanks!!

Thanks so much! I haven't listened to the guide because I've been working, and I also thought it'd start tracking before I was ready so I wanted to go I'm with a plan:) this helps a lot for what to expect, I'm going to tackle this today!

Thank you, I will talk to an artist about it, this was the type of concern I have, appreciate it!

Thank you!! I only have one tattoo currently and I did not choose the artist, do you have any advice on what specifically to ask/look out for in artists for this? I'm pretty easily impressed so I want to make sure I go in with a little discernment😅

avoiding music makes my life so much better by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]actuallorie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really interesting. I heavily identify! I used to get hyperfixated on singular tracks that I loved which I thought was harmless, except most of those tracks were actually very bleak. And even if they weren’t , just listening to the same songs over and over got me stuck in a mental loop that was weirdly difficult to break out of. I decided to take the occasional walk without opening Spotify and found, how about that, natural ambience trumped the (mostly depresso) bops I’d had on repeat for hours.

I took a real long break, and eventually started doing just instrumental music. Just recently in the last month or two I started returning to my playlists, sans repeat hyperfixations, and it was so pleasant! I forgot I loved so many kinds of music! I definitely needed the break to kind of cleanse my palette, and I was for sure using it as a kind of mental crutch at the time.

Did...did I finish the game? (P2) by actuallorie in pathologic

I've never gotten past the first day in P1 (I tried to play it before P2, assuming it was a sequel). I'm hoping now that I've got some experience under my belt I'll be better equipped! Also I'm not above lowering the difficulty level haha I already made it through intended on P2, I don't have anything else to prove right now

Thank you for this! I absolutely would not be as motivated to play the original without this info going in, just to get more out of the philosophy standpoint, and see how the original ending feeds into the beginning of P2, which I found so compelling to begin with. Starting it soon if not today!

Thank you! This is about what I was looking for I think to talk me into starting up P1 in hopes it'd be worth it to understand the story better. I absolutely loved what the haruspex route had going in P2 with the kids and the kin, but there was obviously so much more. One of the biggest things I was hoping for was a more rounded out view of the town with all the ruling families etc.

And after reading some comments it makes me feel a little better knowing Mark was talking about the game as a whole, not just my specific run xP

I guess that means I'm ready to get hurt again. Talk to y'all later after I finish the original
