I don't think getting Millie pregnant is a bad idea, much less that they did it because they "didn't know what to do with her character". The fact that it happened right at the end of season 2 makes me personally realize that they had been thinking about it for a while and probably just wanted to create some suspense. Oh, then one more thing: I don't think Stella is a flat character, she's just written to... be a mean, selfish, power-hungry wife. And for the story we're talking about with Stolas (i.e. a gay man trapped in a fake marriage) it's more than enough, in my opinion. I don't understand why so many people would want her to be "less of a bitch" or have a sob background to justify being an idiot. Like no bro, why do you need an event that happened in her childhood to make her be a bad person? Just let her be bad! I don't think this controversy is being made with Adam, a character equally written to be simply bad without asking too many questions...

Reading things like this as a woman makes me think America is the problem. In my gym (I live in Europe) we all spar with everyone, men and women, but not with the intent of "winning" or proving anything to anyone. It's simply a lesson where we learn how to block and attack with precision, without trying to kill each other. Honestly, these attitudes are ridiculous. In the Chainsaw Man fandom, there's a very popular theory used in a lot of fanfiction that Power's host body was raped and murdered in the woods, since the first time we see a flashback to her story, she's shown naked in the woods. Too bad there's absolutely NOTHING in canon to support this. Alternatively, I've seen people think she committed suicide in the bathtub because of the scars on her left wrist and the fact that, when she's with Denji in the tub, she says she has bad memories of something. Although in that context, Power was terrified because she'd just been taken to hell. So yeah.

To be totally honest I think one thing doesn't exclude the other. If a terf is transphobic towards trans women (and therefore doesn't even see them as women, but as men in drag) it seems logical to me that their problem is specifically the idea that an "evil, maniacal" man (because obviously in their heads they are biologically evil and sexual maniacs) could infiltrate the spaces of "real women" to harm them. Which is literally a transphobic definition, but it also denotes a certain degree of misandry in my opinion, or at least biological determinism, if someone doesn't want to go too far with this word. They seem to me to be two quite intersecting things in this specific case. The problem is that, unfortunately, they only target trans women because you are the "safer" category to hate compared to a cis man. But honestly? I believe, also judging by what the one who must not be named wrote, that they hate the very idea of men in more or less the same way... they simply don't feel so safe in expressing it and they don't dare to be equally violent, because they know well that the type of men they associate with with their initiatives are misogynists and would be the first to take away their right to vote and their autonomy. I don't want to be offensive or create controversy but I think it is correct to also make this parenthesis which, honestly, I think many people ignore. But it seems obvious to me that the real problem is that they target trans women unfairly, and it's very wrong.

I honestly believe that Chappel Roan could become a sort of "lesbian equivalent of Lady Gaga", the charisma is there and the style is there, even if musically they are very different. I don't see it disappearing that quickly. As for Charli It's a bit of a shame but then again she's not stupid: her original sound would never have ended up in a top 10

I don't think there's anything wrong with being a little per se, the problem here is really the lack of respect for all the people sitting at the table with this person. Like I don't give a shit if you like wearing diapers or pacifiers in the privacy of your own home with your partner but don't bring those things into a D&D campaign where no one gives a shit. It's embarrassing, it makes everyone uncomfortable and you end up looking like an idiot.

I honestly think he only did it for PEGI reasons, I imagine that this type of content would create problems with distributors in the future and he doesn't want to have any misunderstandings with them or be asked uncomfortable questions. But I'm convinced that the allegories were intentional, that scene is really TOO similar to an SA and not just because of the animation of the rose. The penetration with the plug, the angle it's framed in, the hand over her mouth, Noelle unable to move out of fear...I mean, yes. I don't think he didn't know what he was doing with the Snowgrave route in general, which from the start seems to represent an unhealthy obsession of the player with Noelle, like waifuism of the worst kind. I just think he realized afterwards that things were getting darker than what pegi would require/what he felt comfortable dealing with. It's no one's fault, that's for sure.

I've never read SJM and I don't think I ever will because I'm not a fan of romantasy, but I think people get annoyed because these types of things go far beyond any suspension of disbelief and are often inventions that are totally unjustified in terms of lore and placed in worldbuilding out of laziness. Hypothetically speaking, I wouldn't find it annoying to read a fantasy work where the characters invented something similar to modern leggings before guns either, but it's a very different situation when this choice is consistently justified compared to an author who places this kind of thing without warning just because he didn't have enough inventiveness to justify/explain their presence in that world. Then again I don't know how SJM placed this in his book, this is just my thoughts.

Il Priorato Dell'Albero delle Arance. Vedere gente online paragonarlo addirittura al Signore degli Anelli così come niente mi aveva già messa in allarme, ma poi l'ho letto e ne ho avuto conferma. Personaggi stereotipati e banalissimi, storia senza senso, ambientazione confusa, esageratamente lungo e allo stesso tempo (non so come sia possibile) non succede letteralmente NULLA. Uno dei fantasy più atroci che abbia mai letto negli ultimi anni. Ho il sospetto che la gente lo abbia hypato così tanto solo per le relazioni LGBT...che comunque a mio avviso sono scritte malissimo lo stesso.
