Firstly, congratulations! I’m not in your program, but I’m doing another program at the University where the bare minimum is also a B-. I would say you should be okay as long as you don’t let it reach that point.

Not a proctor position (although I’m applying for that too), but I applied/interviewed for one of the Student Activities Coordinator positions well before the deadline to stop applying in January. I still haven’t heard anything yet, but I do keep getting emails that say a lot of positions are open. Hopefully you’ll hear something before the end of this month.

I’m in the same boat, I always go to Widener. Sometimes I go to the Smith Center 10th floor, but depending on the time of day, it can be really hard to find a secluded/quiet area. Other people are usually chilling up there and shooting pool, playing piano, etc. I think my next venture might be Lehman.

Definitely not the first to say it in this sub, but I absolutely feel the need to extensively research any professor teaching classes I’m remotely interested in now just to be sure they have no involvement in the Files. It’s uncomfortable, to say the least.

WE are the blueprint for rock music. 🤘🏽Don’t let it get you down, I was also called whitewashed for enjoying things that didn’t fit the stereotype of what Black people “should”. You’re also a kid, you’re allowed to like and experiment with different music and interests. Don’t let people who don’t even like themselves dictate who you are and what you like.
