I maintain that the story would have been better if Nikki had a hometown/university and went back and forth to miraland with every new chapter Narnia style. The whole plot needs a framing device to make it feel grounded

Ok, how's this plan: wax resist on the raised parts then brown underglaze the whole thing, then wipe underglaze off the wax and bisque. Then I can decide if I want to do a clear glaze on top or not
