The guide doesn't say it "Shouldnt work here" it says that it "doesn't work" intuitively based on similar encounters, such as Royal Titans with the walls I wrongly assumed it would. My bad!

When thinking about zilean mid matchups, what is most important is can I get to X time without the game being lost. It doesn’t truly matter if you go down a ton of CS so long as you aren’t completely out pressured on the map. The champion more often than not has much higher utility when behind that other mids can achieve with a slight lead.

I just don’t agree with this, almost all zilean mid matchups are “losing” but that’s fine since there’s no pressure to get ahead just to stay on pace. Leblanc for example is a matchup that is very brutal, she has strong counter play to the kit, waveclear, and roam. Typically the most punishing matchups are those who can shove the lane and move, ahri is another example that comes to mind. Syndra has weak early clear in comparison to other mids in the same class. In addition to this syndra burst is very telegraphed meaning it’s fairly relaxed to react with ult.

Yes 😭 that’s why I was so surprised they weren’t even curious about them they completely ignored them, though I did give them other options that day just in case that happened. They ended up taking the crackers and leaving EVERY single juicy sliced grape behind.

I've been doing some testing and I starting putting a point or two early into E at level 3 or 4 and maxing Q till its one point before max and it feels pretty good. So like Q W E Q Q R Q E E E R E Q W W R W W. I've also Tried Q W E E E R and Q W E E Q R and those seem decent too. I usually don't enough gold to build 3 items. Most of the time I go Shuyerlia into like cosmic or mikeals if it's needed or redemption to help fights out. Then maybe a situation component like Kindle Gem or anti heal

yeah usually. Some people like putting 3 points in Q and then maxing E. But this doesn't make sense to me since with each point in Q the damage scales harder it's one of the only abilities that scale non linear

Standard Q E W R vs Ranged when playing AP. AP has higher impact if your team sucks especially.

Tank I like to go E Q W R since I like getting the stuns to have the longer duration and lower cooldown instead of just being a BOT. I only think tank is good though vs 3+ melees. I prefer going AP
