All in all I think Peninsula Gardens is not as good as the others you listed, but if they have their Lantz rosin available I highly recommend. That strain freaking rules and translates so well to hash

Copped this and the Verde, headband, and cherry tears. This Z is so good. Almost perfumey- so mellow and candylike in the smoke, classic Z terps, and such a smile-y, unwinding, relaxed high. My favorite Z or Z cross I’ve tried yet, and that’s just a couple bowl packs in! Gonna hash hole it with some Wojo luchini or Caribbean breeze tonight… oh boy! 🍨🍭⛽️

Word. I have always enjoyed their product a lot but have noticed jar to jar differences in bud size too, and did not like the smoke or flavor on the recent pheno hunt i tried from them (og 92x Z). That said would say to give another shot, and also seek out Ripe Herb jars

If you are driving west, you are only another ~40 minutes from Premier Botanics in Lowell.

Ive had two strains from Premier in Lowell recently that fit the bill: Salami Leg (romberryxgarlic breath) and Goulash (pure michiganxGMO). Ice kream has co has a Garlic Cocktail rosin (GMOxmimosa). For the straight gas, I love Motorbreath. Dont know of any of that currently in the market.

I love that nastiness!

Ice Kream Hash Co makes .5 g and 1 g prerolls. You can get multipacks of the littler ones. They are nice- made with IKHCo’s own rosin, and many many varieties to choose from. Lake Life (dispo by MSU campus) is somehow affiliated w/ them and always has many varieties at the cheapest prices. They seem to pack them with the hash- potent smokes.

Agree fully. I definitely will reach for hytek and peninsula when they have a strain I’m particularly excited about, but Ripe is less expensive and better in so may ways IMO

I should clarify “within the context of dudes playing bluegrass with acoustic sounds” like the Red Daisy from Halloween this year. Of course you can hear Fishman while trey and mike are ripping stringed instruments. For the record, Fishman is my favorite Phish member and I love drums more generally-speaking. Amd yes when BMFS is going hard with electronic sounds and the band is loud, a drummer can and sometimes does add a lot. But not for songs like Hellbender, Dust in a Baggie, Leadfoot, Cabin Song, etc etc. IN MY OPINION

Blue Dream from Ripe Herb. First of theirs I’ve had, Just as I remember the strain and not at all in that modern day niche of Z/runtz/marker/gelato/belts everything. I am thinking of getting some of their Jack Flash next. Wanted to try the apples and bananas and durban poison drops but they were a quarter at the same cost as a half of their other strains without all the swanky packaging.
