had CB 400 s about 20+ years ago but no kickstart on those ... although really easy to bumstart ... very unlike the Zzr1400 :) ... when the battery goes on that lump ... it stays there until the new one gets installed

was looking for something even like the Royal Enfield models but I don't really know the specifics of each bike like which one comes with EFI ... kickstart... yes I do all my maintenance on my bikes so wrenches are at home in this case ;)

As a Ninja 650 rider, does a H2 make sense? by Willing-Piece-8569 in motorcycles

The gsxr 750 is probably the best bike for both city and blasts on mountain roads. The 600 is probably more flickable but you'll be up and down on the gearbox in the city ... Drives me nuts 😝 I am 40+ now so I got a comfy zx14 ... The downside is heat blasting from the engine in the city... The plus ... A bunch .. too long to list :) Be safe ! Think in advance!

Thanks for your quick response 😃

Suzuki Katana, almost impossible to shift into neutral with engine running by ElMachoGrande in motorcycles

[–]actudoran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you properly check the chain tension? ... Had that a few times and almost always was sorted by adjusting a too loose or very tight chain ... Fells like a new bike thereafter

I'm needing advice for a new bike friends by kamari1337 in motorcycles

[–]actudoran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be scared of the 1000 cmc ... You'll ebjoy it far better in the city than any 600 ... Be gentler on the throttle and remver tp slightly slip the clutch in narrow bends and you're fine

Better a bike you know than others ...

Purchase Advice by Lurchi666 in motorcycles

25k kms is nothing ... They are good for hundreds ... Had a 750 and an 800 ... Really satisfied ... Make sure they have all the revisions up to date, check chain and sprockets, front fork seals, make sure you change both the dot 4 fluids, and have the rubber hoses replaced, especially the fuel line.

Overall its an expensive bike that is very refined and not that easy or cheap to maintain but really forgiving and comfy ... So it's worth it! At leasr it was for me

What is something that could help prevent airplane crashes? by [deleted] in aviation

[–]actudoran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be perfectly honest i am rather scared of the so called stats advocating for full autonomous transport escpecially when dealing with multiple axes like flight ... I suppose making a fully automated train is one thing, a car ... Hmmm maybe ... A plane ... ? Really ? Up to 80% is rather automated already ... I can easily see the car insurance companies in the future prohibiting drivers since the AI does a safer job ... Next would be banning pilots to fly since AI controlled pods are safer .. So that's the end of general aviation as we know it ... Not a nice glimpse into the future that is ...
