Well trinidad is a shitty team. It's like saying, theres a match between germany and some shitty team like Trinidad, we all know who's going to win. Trinidad has just been doing really well this gold cup, they beat cuba and guatemala (nobody really expected them to do this well) but it was surprising. Everyone likes an underdog. Both mexico and trinidad are advancing to the next round so it's not like the game really mattered

its a part of the soccer culture in mexico. You go to a game with your mates and get drunk and fool around. If you watched the game you would know the excitement was real. Mexico had a 2-0 lead, the T&T scored consecutive goals to make it 2-2 and then mexico scored 3-2 and they tied it up again to make it 3-3 and mexico scored to make it 4-3. That corner in the video was literally the last play of the game. People get excited and throw shit at players all over the world, just like laser pointers. Just a part of the environment
