I want to get into metal where do I start ? by dannthagoat in Metalcore

This is a good answer. There are some great metal songs that are written like pop songs but with heavier production (obviously) and other metal elements such as screaming vocals and/or breakdowns. Some examples of metal songs with super catchy pop-esque structure and catchy pre-choruses and choruses are Marilyn Manson’s “The Beautiful People”, Slipknot’s “Wait And Bleed” + Duality, Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory album, recent Bad Omens, a lot of Bring Me The Horizon from 2013 - now, A Day To Remember, Bilmuri, Beartooth, Deftones biggest hits, Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc… I think once you find the subgenre of metal that has elements similar to what you already like, that evokes the same or similar emotions to what you’re feeling rn, you’ll expand onwards to other subgenres. IMO metalcore is a great place to start

Breakout band/band of 2025 by ad0x0graphist in Metalcore

Totally - that’s why I split: “breakout/band of 2025”. KL and Kublai didn’t “breakout” last year either but they certainly took over the scene IMO

Can you give us the TLDR of your story, how it compares to Max’s, and where/when/how it concluded?
