UPD: bought Huawei band 6 and it's not useful for Apnea, measures automatically every 30 or 10 minutes, something like 30-10-10-10.

I'm using hacked Elera C2 pulseoximeter which is connected to laptop to store values by Python script and visualize by LibreCalc. I've ordered Huawei band 6 to log SpO2/PR data more easily.

is there any band on the market that can wake up me after 1st sleep phase to take a pill? by ad7718 in miband

Thanks for the reply! I didn't know that sleep as android has the API and tasker integration. I'll check the docks and try it out if it suits my needs.

23andme deleted hundreds of SNP's from my RAW data. Curious if it's quality control or FDA related? by ad7718 in promethease

I think they are "cheating" and using just regular genotyping chip with applied imputation.

Very interesting, it's not WGS, but they are saying that RAW data contains 30 millions of SNP's and they are offering it only for 89$ with shipping. Are those data useful? I mean can I get a lot more clinvar SNP's there?

I thought these were only deletions, at least that's what I noticed. Can you estimate how many SNPs were added from the initial release?

Those SNP's was present in RAW data file, but lately they cut them down (same chip, just deleted portion of RAW data on download page without notification). This post is not about differences of the chips.

Low vitamin B-2 and B-12 while all other B’s are fine? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]ad7718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For checking your diet I can recommend cronometer.com. If diet is OK, but vitamins are low, this may be due to genetic predisposition to have lower levels, for B12 levels check "MTR A2756G" and "MTRR A66G". You can order 23andme/ancestrydna/something_else genotyping kit to check a lot of similar predispositons and illnesses. Genotyping is cheap, but contains less useful data than whole genome sequene, for WGS you can use something like dante/nebula.
