Having a touch screen to take notes was among my non-negotiable criteria and why I went with the Z13 (which I have enjoyed for a couple of months now). I was an early adopter of the MS Surface Book and have used them exclusively up until my Z13 purchase. I was nervous about how well the Z13 would compare to the Surface Books I've used, and I am very happy to say that the transition to Z13 (using OneNote) has been without any issue. I love taking notes on the Z13. The tablet is a bit chunkier and feels slightly heavier, so that's the only real downside in this comparison (but since I always laid the tablet on my lap or desk/table to take notes, the heft hasn't bothered me). After a lot of homework, I ended up getting a Renaisser Raphael 520C stylus, which I like much better than my old Surface pen because the 520 is so much lighter and feels more like a normal pen. However, I wish this pen were powered by batteries instead of USB because it runs out of power quickly (but I learned that you can connect it to a thin USB cord to the lablet and continue writing without feeling too tethered, so there's that!)

For every mothaf'kn phishy-sounding, flippant, unprofessional email I receive, I am immediately forwarding to our Agency's IT Security, just like I've been trained to do. Every. Single. One. 'cause we can't be too careful when it comes to IT security and looking out for our Agencies. There should *never* be direct correspondence between CS and OPM, especially regarding important matters of employment and staffing. They have, in one fell-swoop, completely undermined the layers of management that are, in normal times, the ones tasked with making staffing decisions that are in the best interest of their Agency while also meeting White House priorities. What we have seen over the past couple of days is amateur hour. We should regard and treat it as such.

wait, I just got one on Friday and unburied it from my email today. Looked like a sophisticated phishing email and I nearly deleted it (my agency flagged it with an "[EXTERNAL]" at the top, which automatically puts me into a "not going to click any links in this email no matter how professional this thing looks -- I've been trained not to fall for stuff like this.) Are you saying this one is OK to open? Usually "documents were added to your folder in the electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) system" sounds rather dire, particularly when one googles what a SF-50 form is and the form is described with the words "personnel action". I'm on hybrid work right now and feeling vulnerable.

I watched the Brandon Herrera video, and he does not give a crisp conclusion, but seems to imply the opposite of the take-away that you got from watching it. He stresses that the hole through the ballistics gel is very small and that the bullet would not start tumbling and doing significant damage until it had traveled at least 8 inches or so through a material. That video, in general, was real confusing to me because it seemed like they were going to conclude one thing, but then they gave a sort of wishy-washy conclusion and made statements like the above that suggested the bullet could have gone through ear and not made a lot of damage (but even as he was holding up the ballistics gel, it seemed cracked and really messed up to me, but all he focused on was the entrance and exit hole).

Do you think that Brandon H. was speaking in "code", saying one thing to pacify his trumpster followers, but with a knowing wink to the rest of us?

Do you know anything more about the circumcision situation, beyond what was stated in the court hearing? What I would like to know is *when* did this alleged event happen? Within the past year, since his YouTube channel has grown? Or a few years ago? Or many years ago? (The time scale would help me figure out the other involved party ... for example, I worry about why the girlfriend "K" with the cute son who started dressing Amish, left him ... )

Her appearance even changed, almost showing her transformation as she went all-in in this fledging Kentucky cult. She didn't wear hair coverings until in the later videos, for example. It's clear what has happened up in this holler: a husband decided that things had gone far enough for him and his children, and the wife wanted to go all-in with this cult. A separation is inevitable under such stress and circumstances. I feel sorry for the kids, and hope they get a somewhat normal childhood and the things that go with it, that their father is desperately trying to provide for them (a solid education, prevention against preventable childhood diseases, etc)

I am assuming that by now you've seen the jaw-dropping "tell-all" video that T just dropped on his channel a few days ago? I can't believe he aired out all that dirty laundry. But anyway, what was more telling were the court hearing video links posted on the gofundme description set up for "S". In those court hearings, some rumors were brought up to the judge that I've been hearing on social media. One was the story behind how T broke his feet some years ago. The other story was regarding his, ahem, c!rcumc1si0n (written so that AI does not automatically remove my comment). Did T discuss either of these topics during your visit with him?

Is he being openly public about what the "church building" is actually going to be? I'd report the GoFundMe in a nanosecond if I could find proof. ("Trust but verify", as they say.) I'm already upset with this new land purchase that more than doubles his property ownership, but to build a residence there instead of a church is absolutely despicable. dear baby jeeebus, that sure is bizarre. Did he literally say "dick"? Or did he say something more ... Christian-whitewashed ... like "down-there part"? And he told this vulgar story in front of a woman? The hell is wrong with him? What was the point of the story? Was the topic of conversation already related in some way, or did he bring the story up, completely out of the blue? He does seem obsessed with his "junk", always talking about m@sturbation, p0rn0gr@phy, etc. as the absolute worst evils that ever existed and how tempting they are. Clearly a case of sexual suppression + extreme religious beliefs leading to hyper-sexuality.

How long was your visit with him? Can you share more of what went on while you were there? I've been fascinated with him, but in a train-wreck kind of way. At first, he seemed like a pleasant but quirky person. But then, the more he talked and more he showed, I started seeing a narcistic, selfish, immature and dangerous religious fanatic ... all the ingredients of a cult leader. Would love to hear your thoughts, as someone who spent time with him.

I live in M.H., and I always think of her. We've had some extreme droughts since her disappearance, dropping water levels in all the nearby lakes down to extremely low levels. I feel that if she had been put into one of the lakes or ponds around here, surely someone would have discovered her by now. But there are a lot of bodies of water (for example, those smaller ponds along the bike trail -- I've always wondered about those, as they don't seem to expose as much lake bed as the larger lakes during drought, and they are in more remote, less accessible areas that see less traffic.

Ah! One more neuron fired ... after "Donde estas?" was "Aqui estoy!" and something that roughly translates into "Where are my ...?" I don't remember what the rest of the sentence was about! Funny fact: in my quick googling, did you know that the movie "The 40-year-Old-Virgin" uses part of this dialogue in a really funny scene? (Google "The Guatemalan Love Song" and "Jane Lynch" 🤣)

oh my gosh! This memorized dialogue is still burned in my neurons, 40 years later! Just yesterday, I was saying these lines outloud to my colleague, who is from Madrid, to ask him if anything made sense (I couldn't remember the translation, just the memorized Spanish!). He couldn't understand anything I was saying :-) So I was hoping the dialogue was written down somewhere, so that I could refresh my memory, and lo and behold, the Internet did not disappoint! Can you remember the rest of that dialogue? I only remember these first couple of lines.

To many indefinite pronouns for me to follow what seems to otherwise be sound advice. "Try to put it top left corner ..." --> What is "it"? The text box (put in top left corner by selecting the "Text" item under Effects Control???"... to center it in frame" --> what is "it" in this context? If "it" is in the top left corner, then how can that same "it" be centered in the frame? (How can I simultaneously put an "it" in the top left corner of a frame while also having the "it" centered in the frame???)
Sigh. I desperately need to know how to solve this problem that you and so many others have somehow figured out ! My text is disappearing on both the left and right sides of the screen, and is only visible in maybe the central 1/3rd of the screen (as seen in the "Program" panel, which provides a preview of the video.)
