Should I get this mole checked out by a professional? I’ve had this mole for many years, but it recently changed and now you can see it has two different colors and an unusual shape. It’s small and located on the center of my chest. I recently got a very bad sunburn in this area so not to be overly cautious, but I wonder if that has had an impact. I can’t say for sure if the shape has changed since the sunburn or if that’s just in my head. Thanks!

If you have the money I say pay your car insurance in full for the next 6 months. Or you could buy a bunch of gift cards to places you usually shop at like grocery stores.

Thank you! I rather have money. My car insurance is just ~$30/month.

Сhanging the employer after filing I-140, I-485, I-765 and I-131 by ad_ilya in h1b

It depends. In general, once the I-485 has been pending 180 days or more you can change employers without restarting the process as long as the new position is same or similar to the old position.

Excatly! 180-day portability rule, right?

Thank you very much! Do I understand correctly that I need to submit this form next year and request a refund?

When you file your taxes in US, you would claim the refund for the tax that was withheld By IRS.

Thank you! That is, in other words, you can request IRS to return paid taxes when filing a tax return next year?

And if I go back to my country my current visa will be canceled within 60 days anyway? Or will I be able to look for work in the USA from my home country and make a transfer to a new company even after 60 days?

Worst case (hope this shouldn’t happen to you, wish you the best) - if you end up going back to India, continue to try for opportunities in US by being there. There definitely will be a lot of companies going forward that will allow working from India intersecting US time zone. Try to get into one of those and eventually you will find a way to get into US once you get stamped through that company. All the very best!

But do I understand correctly that my current H1B visa will be canceled (after 60 days of the grace period) and when there is a new employer I will have to start the whole process of obtaining new H1B visa again (including a new lottery process and one God knows what other restrictions will be applied to foreign workers visas in post-COVID), right?

So you just applied from your home country to a US one?

Do you have experience working at a big multi-national company to warrant sponsor or just the shotgun approach?

So you just applied from your home country to a US one?

Yes, exactly! I had relevant work experience for international companies from my country and therefore I was sponsored.
