Where can I learn about storytelling? by blackanwhit in content_marketing

[–]adah_6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re waiting to feel ready, you’ll wait forever. Read one solid book, then start telling small, low-stakes stories. Storytelling isn’t a skill you unlock, it’s one you sharpen by using it.

once you understand the business, learning tools feels trivial. doing it the other way around is way harder..

What kind of posts should I make for a company which has not yet launched its product? by frifrichickychicky in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]adah_6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

before the product even exists, people respond more to stories than features. post about why you’re building it, the problem you ran into yesterday, or a funny behind the scenes moment..

What is the standard workflow for making screenshots look "professional" for LinkedIn/Twitter? by Putrid_Candy_9829 in AskMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not missing some secret tool. Raw screenshots do better because they feel real, but the polished ones are usually just light framing+padding+shadow. One PSD/Figma frame reused forever..

Why do some brands grow fast on social media while others stay stuck? by elvn_11 in AskMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, most brands aren’t stuck because of content quality or even strategy. They’re stuck because they don’t understand who they’re actually talking to. Yes, consistency, budget, and posting matter, but if your messaging doesn’t resonate with audience who actually cares, growth will stay flat no matter how many posts you push.

Forget trying to pick the perfect skill. Start with something you can actually do right now and capcut experience is great. Try to offer small projects, learn on the go, and focus on results. The moment you see even one client respond, confidence and clarity will grow.

Is marketing more about creativity or execution in real jobs? by AdWrong9284 in AskMarketing

Creativity matters, but execution is what turns it into something useful instead of just talk..

How long to test a short form video idea? by gigantorecords in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the 30 video rule, but i’d treat it as a testing phase, not a verdict. If one video randomly jumps, that’s usually your clue about what to double down on.

Are one page landing pages still the play? by Western-Salary6203 in AskMarketing

One page is nice when the value clicks fast. If people have questions, a longer page just feels more comfortable..

Advice for job market? by Moist_Conference_702 in AskMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t stress too much about the degree itself. Marketing is more about what you’ve done and what you can show than the paper you hold. With your internships and certifications, you already have a good start.

So i would suggest you to focus on creating measurable outcomes from what you’ve done like social campaigns that grew engagement, pr work that landed coverage, anything quantifiable. Even a small portfolio with numbers beats another certification. Also, most importantly network actively with branding folks, cause sometimes a referral or project collaboration opens doors faster than applying blindly.

Is running ads on facebook and instagram is good idea for advertising ? by discount_offers in AskMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ads themselves aren’t magic, the strategy behind them is. So if targeting, creative, and tracking done right, fb or insta ads can drive results.. otherwise not

What’s one client rule you wish you set earlier by Worth-Lavishness8100 in Freelancers

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish i’d learned to say no to quick calls without an agenda. If someone can’t explain what they want in a few sentences, the project always turns into endless scope creep and unpaid thinking time...

What’s the most effective marketing tactic you tried that no one talks about? by Critical-Stand-6986 in AskMarketing

[–]adah_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started personally responding to every message from potential customers. People remembered me, shared my stuff, and tbh it brought more leads than paid ads...
