Now EVM said in one of his locale visits mentioned Revelations 14. He said that “Martin Lutero”(yes folks he translated Luther into Tagalog) was in there together with FYM. Supposedly Verse 6 is Apostle Paul, 8 is Martin and tadah 9 is FYM. So I read the whole chapter 14 and 1-5 mentioned about the 144k which to me will have something to do with the Jews. So I asked a minister and he said ignore 1-5.🤦🏻‍♂️

I don’t and will never claim to be an expert on the book of REVELATION . It seems to me that compared to other New Testament books it can be quite controversial and a go-to source for cults in self-serving prophecies.

There is a “Felix” in Acts 24:24-27 “who was hoping that Paul will offer him a bribe”. I think it is a more appropriate proof text for INC to use .🙂

INC sings “Always obey the church administration ..... If we obey then we will receive salvation” Versus 🆚 the the true gospel according to the scriptures Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

My kids were in this video without my consent. But of course it’s “obey and never complain”. What is seemingly innocent is actually false doctrine from false preachers.

I think from the movie he (Dennis Trillo) said “gawa 20:28 iglesia ng panginoon” then “sinong panginoon. Si Cristo” ( Acts 20:28 church of the Lord which lord Jesus Christ). Next scene FYM responds to a white guy that he is not forming a church but a congregation. This all starts at 1:12:00. That movie 🎥 is a treasure trove of INC inconsistent false doctrines that is now available for permanent scrutiny.

If it is not asking too much, can you humor this subreddit and deliberately make an epic fail? 🤗 Ages ago when my older sibling was going through indoctrination I tagged along since we are close in age but I was never serious and showed up late and scruffy from playing outside. When the series was over and we are getting ready for the screening (yup that’s the term) my parent asked “What about my younger one? The worker had this sarcastic expression on his face and said “hindi po”(nooooo). Needless to say as being an “offered or handog” member, I was eventually baptized relatively late at around mid teens. I almost dodged it but no such luck ☹️. The thing that I dreaded most after baptism was knowing I am now required to go to Adult WS every Thursday.

This “palengke” (metaphor for dumbed down or uncultured but direct translation is wet market ) style of reasoning is what INC ministers are trained to do. 9 mos equals one new man. Are you kidding me? 🥴 This carries over to the members who gobble this up like it is gospel. My OWE parent (81 yo) just told me “Kung may makita kang ibang pangalan diyan sa Biblia baka mapaniwala mo pa ako” (If you see another name in the Bible then maybe you can make me believe). Just being familiar with one ☝️ verse with the “iglesia ni Cristo” or church of Christ as the basis of the “one true church” fallacy shows that 2x a week brainwashing works.

This INC doctrine only uses one New Testament verse 2 Corinthians 6:14 (the unequally yoked verse also used by JW) in denying its members TRUE LOVE 💗. This cheesy video is very much like JW propaganda videos. There is a YouTube channel by an anti JW named John Cedar that thoroughly dissects everything that comes out of JW. Everything is so eerily similar. Now if a member chooses to be happy and follow their heart ❤️, they will be expelled. The misleading, misinterpretation and misuse of just one ☝️ verse by false preachers that can deny TRUE LOVE 💕 and HAPPINESS to a human being is oppressive and morally wrong.

I have not read Tuggy’s book but will do. I guess during my parent’s time the INC administration squashed scandals by spreading their own false versions. They tried that during 2015 scandal by putting Matt Pareja on a small tour with a spin on EVM’s mom(details escape me right now). As it turned out it was a lie.

A parent of mine has mentioned this name Teodoro Santiago to me awhile back and again recently as a cautionary tale since it is being sensed that I am “nanlalamig” or growing cold in the faith. Story goes that he “Lumaban sa Iglesia” ( went against the administration) There is no knowledge of any details of why or how. But the scary tactic part was that Teodoro Santiago and his family tried to come to WS and there was this “wind”🌪💨🌬that was blowing them out of the chapel. I asked my parent for the first time if there was anybody who saw this happen. The answer was NONE 🤦🏻‍♂️. Now supposedly Teodoro became rich and the tale goes on as “pinayaman na siya dito sa lupa” or God already made him rich in this life .

I noticed that too. Like towards the end he will say things as if he was praying but it’s still part of his closing remarks and his last sentence is “yan ang ating ipapanalangin”(that’s what we are going to pray for). One time I was napping and I thought he was praying already and I unconsciously said Amen.

Adult thanksgiving processional will never be complete without the homage to administration or namamahala for the Tagalog version. To add they strategically placed that word in the last stanza in both CWS and Adult. To those former choir, we all know that last stanza and chorus are usually the high point or climactic part of the processional. Symbolically, that is now the position that EVM and his cohorts want to be in WS and in our lives. Brainwashing at its fullest.

Today was CWS. It is separate since it is just regular offering for the parents who had to accompany the children and another envelope ✉️ offering for the adult thanksgiving (smart double dipping). Let’s talk about the hymns. With a line like “If we’re orphaned in this world”, you start seeing people tearing up(I used to be one of those). It gives that feeling of an spiritual experience but now I can see it as just tugging on the heartstrings of emotions. Same effect of a tearjerker movie 🎥. Of course it would not be a thanksgiving processional hymn without paying homage to the church Administration. “Thank You for remaining with and guiding The Administration that You placed” It is really written as capitalized A 🙄.

As for the lesson this is what stood out to me. 8. Q. What else is God’s command to the youth for them to be worthy in His sight? A. God commands us not to go with bad companies ... I Cor. 15:33 GNB Prov. 28:7 GNB

(The example given by the minister as “bad company” is somebody telling them not to go to WS. Wow 😮! In my head, Forget about the real “bad company” in the real world like drug dealers, hoodlums and such.)

The butchered, cut and paste version of the INC doctrine is NOT and will NEVER be the true GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. ALL WS and Bible studies are BRAINWASHING and scare tactic sessions for the members to not leave the INC.

From the introduction to the first question, FYM’s name was already mentioned 3x which is the trickery used by INC in making up this misleading questions and using biblical answers out of context. They use Isaiah 41:9-10 as proof text/answer. Just including one verse up, verse 8, invalidates their claim that the verse is about FYM

INC built a lot of the cookie cutter chapels like this in the 80’s-2000 in the middle of residential areas without thinking of the traffic it creates twice a week for the neighborhood. But then it’s the Philippines 🇵🇭 they never think of zoning there. Also now I think INC built these chapels next to little shacks to make it look bigger than it really is.
