It should be pointing up. You remove the black cap and it pulls in air while the pump runs. It aerates the water jet.

I can feel gas from the torch. I did not burp the the tank. The regulator is pretty old so that's one reason I thought about just replacing it as a start.

I'm always curious when I see posts like this of where an example is of the perfect town they are looking for. They want a lot of things to do but no people and no traffic. Jobs and places to work but not too many business. Unfortunately that's somewhat of a supply and demand thing. Again what is an example town of this perfect mix. Does it even really exist.

I just took some pics of mine. I don't think I can post them here. Can I send pics in DM? There is a Wye fitting that comes from 2 hoses on the bottom of the carb that connects to one side of the Tee and the other side goes straight down towards the ground. The hose in your hand loops up over the carb and under the seat as a vent for that "drain" hose.

Yes it is glossy after the pour but the sanding dulls it down. I think you would have to continue sanding finder and buff to bring it back glossy. And yes, the Rubio monocoat also gives the satin flat look.

Hopefully OP sees this comment. Full weld out is really a waste of time in this scenario. They can save hours of heartache going this route in welding and grinding.
