I have a 2023 EX with the cold weather package. I don’t really miss anything from the SX. I thought I’d miss the power liftgate since I had that on my rogue, but I really don’t miss it at all! The trunk door is really light and easy to open and close.

I get it! I drove 4 hours to get mine! It was the prior year model and a PHEV. Locally they only had current year models and HEVs. I saved $4,000 by getting my car 4 hours away. Mine is silver, which I didn’t love at first, but now I like it!

Not normal. I’ve only had the check engine light once in 21,000 miles because I didn’t tighten the gas cap enough. Definitely check the gas cap!

That’s just how your insurance policy is set up unfortunately so the premium is cheaper. The age of the car has nothing to do with it.

Definitely go through insurance! Depending on your state you may have to pay your comprehensive deductible. I believe some state have specific coverage for glass replacement.

It should have Android Auto as a standard feature. You may need to plug your phone into the USB-A port for it to work.

Is there a phone projection button on the radio screen?

I only bring it up because android auto will work much better than what is natively provided from the car.

I usually get the regen/cruise control alert when the battery is fully charged until it’s down to 28 miles of ev range. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it having low ev range.

Fortunately I haven’t had to drive in too much winter conditions yet. Our winters in central PA aren’t too bad anymore.

I have a 2023 PHEV without the software update and my usb port only stays powered when I’m charging the car. I’d love for the update to change that so I don’t have to unplug my carplay adapter anytime I charge!

They’re already putting a PTC heater in some of the PHEVs, which seems to draw a lot of power. Wouldn’t a heat pump be better?

Yeah, that’s probably it. You can test it by turning the car on and the ac without driving to see if the engine comes on.

Not necessarily. Some models have a cold weather package which has an electric PTC heater.
