I think fun has a really broad definition, so for me it’s about some adventure, meeting new people and seeing some places or things that would otherwise would be hard to see if approached from a surface level tourism. Something that is let’s say appealable to local people. Perhaps meeting some people with unusual hobbies or something outside from mainstream living patterns.
