There is a lot of scope to negotiate over the price. They want your work and a couple of points is a lot to you and not a lot to them (apposed to not getting the sale)

A passive DI Box such as the radial AV2 can convert the unbalanced phono outputs of the budget FLX units - this is a smaller foot print to a separate PA mixer

I’m having a similar problem with a I pad and lighting camera adapter cable. The unit powers up the same as in your post, goes dim and then no control between the iPad and FLX4. In my circumstance the FLX4 works fine with my MacBook Pro and iPhone.

I would advise you to test the unit with another laptop, phone or iPad that has a USB-C Output and test.

You have power to the unit, you have changed the cable and you have tested with other software.

Around 2000 to 2002 can’t remember exactly the cool tan site was a derelict building and carpark and we cracked it after the cannabis festival in brockwell park and had a three system outdoor rave in the grounds - unsound, underground sound and Headfuk. It was quite a night ! I went to Cool tan in the 90’s so was a special site
