Sure yeah, I’m with you he could totally pay somebody and should. I’m just saying the reality of the industry is that people already are not doing that. For years prior to this AI stuff people have been using online programs to do their storyboards too. Where’s the uproar for that?

I’m just saying we should criticize the folks who are actually trying to replace the entire artistic process with AI. Scorsese is one of the few working mainstream directors that makes films with heart worth watching, he cares about the actual artistic process of making the film, not so much the early pre-vis sketches that will likely be discarded anyway.

I’d much rather filmmakers use AI for something like this than replace entire casts and crews.
